What did the Dark Master mean when cynder lured Spyro into the Well of Souls. Did she. I was really confused about that part and I want anwers. So you better reply, or else...

Cynder never meant to lure Spyro to the Well of Souls. As we saw in TEN, she was captured. It'd be different if she went herself or by any other way.

Malefor was trying to mess with their heads. Cynder eventually got confused and that's when Malefor took advantage of this and corrupted her. As for Spyro, Malefor was simply trying to deceive and upset him.

That's assumption and you darn well know it!

We're never told what Cynder's real motives were in TEN. Now that I think about it, Cynder could still be evil, and all this time she's been playing Spyro for a fool. But I doubt it.

I think an underlying idea is that, actually Spyro really doesn't care. She was evil, but now that she's changed. Etc. The problem lies in that we have no idea what Cynder was doing for 87% of the game. I mean, isn't it a little convinient that suddenly, when they're back together, there's an attack?

If they continue the series, it may well be based on Cynder's confusion of what happened in TEN.

Some of Cynder's Evil Nature Lingered after Spyro Defeated her Adult form, but you know, self consciousness began to take over soon after.

I don't think Cynder was Evil, atleast not till she was taken away by the apes and controlled to do their bidding

Well, its a bit hazy for me, its been a while since I played a new begining and TEN...

The point is we don't know what she did. Saying that you know what happen is a lie, unless, I suppose, you are the writer. Although, going by the storyline, the writers might not have been that skilled.

I'm just saying that all we can do IS speculate. It seems more likely that Cynder wasn't working for Malefor in TEN, but it does seem a little convinient.

^ I think in TEN, She was playing the role of a spy

at that point, everyone would think she was still evil, so the apes wouldn't suspect her...

then again, I don't think she had her heart set on either side, its not until the end of TEN, when Spyro confronts that Boss ape, that she makes a snap decission to betray the Apes, and Join Spyro's side

that's my theory

What confuses me is how did Spyro's presence even bring back Malefor? I thought he was coming back no matter what when the eclipse happens.

You know when Spyro was accidentally hit by the Lunar eclipse and turned into Dark Spyro? You can say he got possessed by Malefor in his fight with Gaul, and was about to turn on Sparx and Cynder until Cynder knocked Spyro out Malefor's control, therefore releasing the Dark Master spirit into the Well of Souls. After the Mountain of Malefor crumbled, Malefor himself emerged out of the debris, alive, to continue what he had started.

And the bit about Cynder luring Spyro to the well of souls, it was part of Malefor's plan to confuse Spyro and Cynder, and he succeeded in turning Cynder back to his control again once she becomes unsure of what she did in TEN.

My guess is that Malefor was just screwing with her head in order to gain some influence over her confusion (which he did).

Simply put once he made her have self doubts about herself a little bit of darkness slipped through that allowed him to gain a degree of control over her.

Can't really say for sure if she was still a bad guy in TEN, though I like that idea. I think she was just doing her think normally and Malefor just screwed with her head to make her believe she was still bad.

I wish in TEN they had showed more of Cynder, but of course since they didn't I have no idea what her motives were. And can anyone answer this question for me, "Why the heck did Malefor curse his ape forces instead of Gaul?" Wasn't Gaul the one who deceived Malefor, not his armies?

Well, the Apes wanted to use Malefor's powers against the dragons for something they did, but Malefor cursed them since they were greedy and weren't really loyal to him.

Don't think that it would have really mattered if he cursed Gaul since he was killed by Spyro anyways in TEN.

Who knows....It was really unclear if he was just acting on his own selfish desires or to please Malefor in general....I assume the later....but since he was trying to kill Spyro I guess it's only fair that Spyro would get to try and kill him back lol..

Yeah I guess you make a good point, I do find it kind of odd though how Malefor is a purple dragon and so is Spyro, yet Gaul wants to kill Spyro and not Malefor. I don't know, maybe it isn't that odd.
