The levels were too short, childish, easy, and boring. Music did not fit well and Like I said before it was very boring. Anyone agree with me. I beileve that spyro when from good to bad from spyro one intil today it is a movie :sick:

YotD is my favourite game. I play it on my computer (with epsxe). I like the minigames (skateboarding). And I always look for glitches. It is funny.

thats exactly what I mean. If you have 100 95 and 90 dollars 100 is the best and 90 is the worst, not meaning haveing 90 dollars is bad

Actually, I think that one was the least excellent, two was better, and three was the best.

Although, that second round of the demolition derby thing had me questioning that for a while.

I loved them all. Spyro 1 was my least favorite because it was so glitchy. In GTG/RR they fixed a bunch of bugs like by adding hover. ^^

For the PS1 series, YOTD in my opinion was the best, the worlds may have been short but were decent sized and there was a ton of maps which raged from one difficulty to the next and the fact you got Ice breath in the awesome tundra level was a nice touch. Ofcourse, the mini games were great.

The other two... ALRIGHT but I didn't find much replay value in them.

I like all 3 of them very much. Difficult 2 say, but if I have to:
The 1st one is the best, according to me.
YotD is in second place and GtG/RR is in 3rd.
YotD was much better than RR, but good old first Spyro is simply the best!

I to be honest liked the first one best this one second and ripto's rage 3rd to be honest im not saying i hated ripto's rage i likked it i completed it but the graphics where bad the games where to easy and short the same with YOTD wink

I like year of the dragon the most as the worked on the improvments need from the 2nd one which I dislike the most. Also Spyro one had its downsides but still awesome to play.

The levels were decent in size and callenge though I didn't like the sub areas, felt disjointed.
I agree the atmosphere AND music were childish and unfitting but the music is Ryan Beverage's fault and the level colour selection has been identified in a review to be more pastel based than the predecessors which lead to brighter(and sometimes duller) levels than before.

I will admit, I'm not a fan of some of the mini-games, and I find myself getting lost in some of the bigger levels, but it's still a great game.

There are some good and bad about this compared to the previous installments, these are my preferances:
Pros:
Larger levels
Better story
More content
More replay value
Constant exploration
Immersion
Best game on the Playstation XD

Cons:
Music(sounds childish)
Colours(a reviewer actually commented that this game used a duller palette than its predecessors)
Side-quests/Mini-games are sectioned off from the main level
Too many mini-games(took away from the ingenious formula of Spyro 1)
Levels have no connection to each other
Characters are more annoying
Still no sideroll
Speedways are the easiest in the trilogy
Rushed, like Spyro 1

Non-the-less, I still think this and the Spyro trilogy as a whole is the greatest ever made and is an underrated gem(even masterpieces aren't really perfect)! The level of creativity and love put into it deserves it a spot at the top of masterpiece video game case-studies.

i basically only liked spyro 3 because of the characters
wasnt fond of the bentley's slowness, byrds floatyness and agent 9's boring levels. sheila, i didnt mind her much. in fact, i like her levels. also i thought the sorceress was a cool villain. deceiving and greedy. makes the perfect wife for moneybags
but i'd have to say spyro 2 was probably the best.
no, spyro 1.
sheesh, its a tough choice.
