Possible reason why its taking a while...
OK first of all i dont think anyone has seen this yet as ive been on wikipedia numerous times looking for updates and well heres one its only minor mind you but it could explain why they are taking so long, with information and stuff.
"The film will be developed from Los Angeles, California and will be animated in Korea."
Just one thing, if you have heard this before i apologise as, well, its new to me anyway, so i decided to post it on here in case its new news to everyone else.
Animated in Korea and developed in LA would no doubt cause numerous communication breakdowns in languages, (english and korean), but also Korea isnt exactly best known for its film industry is it? so be prepared i think for it to be not animated that well. But seeing is believing as they say so we will have to wait and see.

Re: Possible reason why its taking a while...
Actually, Korea has a pretty good animation business. Their games are all identical in concept, but the animation is beautiful. I used to own a Korea-animated game before the western servers were shut down, and while it had *bleep* functionality the over-all look of it was good. And I've seen better ones, the game I had was pretty lazy by the standards I've seen.

Re: Possible reason why its taking a while...
I guess you guys already know how much I expect from this film, but this only makes it worse and worse and worse. C'mon ey, which idiot develops a film in LA and then sends it to Korea to develop it??? ~*sIgH*~ this is getting weirder every time I visit this forum...
Film devs, please make something good of it.

Re: Possible reason why its taking a while...
The reason it's taking so long is because it's Duke nukem forever in disguise.

Re: Possible reason why its taking a while...
As far as quality goes for it being animated in Korea I don't think we have too much too worry about! Just so long as we get a good one. After all "Dragon Wars" was made in Korea (D-Wars) If you have ever seen that movie. It's not the best but the animation was prettty good so if we get good animaters like that I don't think we have any thing to worry about. [smiley:531e8730d8]Chill Guys!![/smiley:531e8730d8]

Re: Possible reason why its taking a while...
D-Wars was great. And it was one of the most low budget movies ever. The animator did it for minimum pay because he thought it'd be fun.
The reason it's taking so long is because it's Duke nukem forever in disguise.
Hey, note the name? Duke Nukem forever? Maybe it's really a marketing scam in disguise. When they do finally release it, they'll be like "IT IS DUKE NUKEM FOREVERZ GAIZ! L0L0L0L0L0L00L0L0L0L0LL0L0L0L0L0L0L!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!APPLE"
