The movie release date
What I've seen, some said it TBA 2009, and some said TBA 2010. I hope TBA 2009.

I keep hearing is coming out Christmas of 2009. I hope we don't have to wait till next year.[But it might be better though.]

I think it's 2009 but there's a chance it could get delayed so you never know (:

Re: The movie release date
But Advent children was never released in cinemas. It was a movie on final fantasy VII, and it was pretty good for people who understood it, but it would be given average marks if it went to cinemas. But Final Fantasy VII is one of the greatest RPGs in the world. It was the best-selling final fantasy and had a brilliant storyline, even when you got to the identity bit and you didn't understand, at all.
So Spyro should go to DVD and only be sought by fans. If it went to cinemas, it's a serious financial risk.

Oh. I never cared about Final Fantasy so I wouldn't know but I see what you mean about the fans and the people who understand it, so I guess straight to DVD wouldn't be too bad then.

Re: The movie release date
It'd be nice if it was 2009, but I have a feeling it'll be slightly delayed, so I guessed Spring next year.
This film had better be good...

Final Fantasy sucks. My opinion if you didn't notice.

Re: The movie release date
Because we are still in July, I am guessing that the movie will come out
during our Christmas break. 2009 - 2010. But if they want it to be good,
they should release it around February, just to have some time to beef it
up.
This movie already is my favorite movie. But I'm not so sure about Balto,
since it's my childhood movie. Okay, Spyro would be my 2nd favorite.

Re: The movie release date
Well, as much as I want to see the movie I think it would be better if it were released later...it'd probably be better then.

Re: The movie release date
I don't think I care when they release it, as long as it's not Late 2010. That's just too far.

Re: The movie release date
My best bet....it's going to be in the end of October. just like the rest of the games....then again they might need more production time. I guess that's why the've been mentioning 2010

Re: The movie release date
I saw something on youtube from the makers that said they couldn't meet the deadline of Christmas, and so they would be pushing it back. All I can say is thank you, God, that the film hasn't been rushed.
Bring it out in 2020 if it makes it good.
If it's another Super Mario Bros episode, I'm going to send letter bombs.

Re: The movie release date
And you know that this video is official how?
I don't think it is, you know. Look at the 'official artwork'. That art is on DarkSpyro, and Dark told everyone that the artwork is from Dawn of the Dragon, not the movie. If the so-called 'producer' on YouTube is for real he wouldn't post DotD artwork now, would he?

Re: The movie release date
I suppose. I still don't think it'll be out for Christmas, though. As for the artwork, I reckon it's from the film. But that's me.

Re: The movie release date
The artwork definitely ISN'T from the film. It was in one of the galleries in DotD.

Re: The movie release date
I agree, the artwork looks very similar, but if you consider the two side by side, I think there is a small difference. I just think this means they'll be leaning heavily on the art style of the games. **sobs in despair**
