Spyro, Flame, Ember and Sgt. Byrd plus Hunter.
Red well he is just Red. Don't kill me! I have a sword and I'm not a afraid to use it!

I thought the levels looked fine, though in terms of execution they seemed either overly watered down or out of place (Blink) or not feeling like anything the character might have done in the past (Sgt. Byrd).

I'm personally not a fan of the characterisations in that game, as it made so many changes without as much of an explanation; that and the entire voice cast was replaced. Tom Kenny made everything worthwhile prior to here sad
But either way, I thought Hunter and Red ranked well here. Though his personality was made a bit lighter and more adventurous, it was great to see that Hunter's archery capabilities as seen in one of the Fracture Hills orb challenges in Spyro 2 was given an expanded emphasis on being able to control him as the archer himself. That, and he was responsible for what I personally thought was the best line in the entire game -

Red was cool as well in that we got to see a fighting Dragon elder here, though his backstory seemed to be a little bit tame. Also, what's in the name "Red" anyway? With Dragon elders I was expecting a more mysterious name, as witnessed among some of the elders in the first Spyro title. Nonetheless, he managed to pose as a potent enemy, and I don't care what anyone else thinks - I actually LIKED his mecha form, thank you tongue

Other than spyro being #1, I also liked ember and flame because they were so cute. Then going from most liked to least liked: sparx, blink, sgt. byrd, bentley, then red.

Probably Ember, obviously. But also liked Spyro in this one, too. And Flame was pretty cute, also. I hated Blink, Hunter, and most of the bosses (i.e., Ineptune, ugh!), but I think Ember was probably my favorite, even if she had only a short appearance in the game.

Unless you played as her. But they didn't even give her her own voice or moves or even scenes, so I didn't really like playing as her. It was just a cel-shaded Spyro. -_-

When I played as her, I actually saw her in a scene when I was talking to someone. But of course, she was called "Spyro".

Ember was hilarious, but Hunter by far exceeded all of my expectations for him. His gameplay and charater design were like instantaneous eternal LOVE.

Other than the obvious, Spyro, I think I have to go with Hunter. I did really like the Sgt Byrd minigames, after I'd finished the game and wasn't focused on completion anymore but just playing around. The Sparx games are my least favourite, and I'm kinda meh about the Blink games. The whole "just because I'm a mole, you think that I know every other mole..." dialogue amused me enough to warrant keeping the character, though.
