Spyro's Eye Colour

OK, seriously, what colour are Spyro's eyes?

In the Original Trilogy box art they were BLACK.

In-game and in every other Spyro game, including The Legend of Spyro, they were PURPLE.

In the 'cutscenes' for Season of Ice and Season of Flame, Spyro's icon when he talks and certain artwork (such as this picture: http://images.fanpop.com/images/image_u … 4_768.jpg) his eyes are BROWN.

And in the Legend of Spyro 3D movie poster his eyes are BLUE!

What colour are they? I think I prefer them brown, or perhaps blue. Black and purple are boring.

The original Spyro had black or purple eyes (as in YotD). They should therefore be PURPLE. It fits him better.

I say brown, I like eyes that stand out from the characters appearence so I think brown would suit Spyro nicely (that and we don't have enough brown eye heroes these days).

in the games, cutscenes, and the background on this website, Spyro's eyes are purple, so i'd go with purple, just with really, really big pupils.

On some discs they are even blue. Id say dark purple

Aren't those really black, but reflects the light from the fire and the other light source? His mouth and a few other spots are affected by the light too.

Speaking of eyes, has anyone else noticed that Sonic only has one eye with two pupils and an oddly-shaped eyelid?

The most often used colour for his eyes has been purple, with rare deviances to other colours. I'm pretty sure purple would be his eye colour, by that logic.

I'm shocked and very pleasantly surprised that no-one's said yellow.
