Reminder - Trolling and Flaming
Hello everyone, we'd just like to remind you all of the fan club forum rules, specifically this one:
1) In each thread members must be fans of the character the thread is for. If you dislike a character, do not post in that thread.
This rule is pretty self explanatory. You may not use this section for bashing other members, shipping wars, or otherwise initiating conflict.
But why can't we argue in here!? Arguing is fun!
Because we don't want shipping wars and flame wars in here. Just be respectful of the fans and let them discuss their favorite characters/shippings.
What about the anti clubs? They're so offensive!
Currently we are going to allow the anti clubs; everyone has a right to their own opinions. Keep them civilized and respectful, though! We will not hesitate to lock clubs with inappropriate content.
The same rules apply here - if you're a fan of the character or shipping, don't post in the anti club. If you don't like them, no one is forcing you to read them or even acknowledge their existence.
But <insert anti club here> is insulting to me/my favorite character!
No, it isn't. If someone doesn't like your favorite character, that is their right. Respect other clubs as you want yours to be respected.
Also, this should be obvious, but fictional characters are fictional. They are not serious business. There is no need to defend a video game character to the point of risking your reputation and account on this forum.
But <insert character/shipping here> is stupid! I must argue about it!
No, you must not. Make an anti club if you wish, but stay out of the fan club for that character or shipping. You can also make a new thread in another, more appropriate section for debating.
What if someone is spamming/trolling/flaming in my fan club?
Simply report the post by using this button (), which is located in the top right corner of every post. It is a magical button that will send a report of the post to the moderators so they can take the appropriate action. After reporting the post, continue posting in the thread as if the rule-breaking post does not exist. You should NOT argue back or even respond at all; doing so only encourages trolls to post more.
(For more information about reporting posts, please read this and this.)
What if I'm so awesome that I think I'm exempt from following this rule?
Expect to be banned for a short time.
Thanks for your cooperation! Hopefully this can be a section that everyone can enjoy.

Y'know, when I first made the anti-Cynder thread, I saw this coming.

Harsh, blunt, and even evil on many occasions. What's not to like about me?

Yeah, unfortunately some people take their fictional characters way too seriously. -__-

Re: Reminder - Trolling and Flaming
Because like I said, they should have enough common sense to know that other people are allowed to have different opinions theirs.
Not my problem if fans go insane when they see something negative about their favorite fictional characters.
