Hey man I resent that! I for one love the new games!!! And yeah... I grew up on the old ones too! They were unbeatable. nobody can beat the classics! I just thought that a change of pace would be nice! To have a game that had a point and not just another randome Boss trying to take over again. <_<

and when they gave that to us I thought that was prety flippin cool!! so now they what to make a movie out of the new games... honestly, as much as I love the old games, I don't think they Could make a movie out of any of the old games because they were all a one shot kill-boss deal. -.-

The new games actually have an extended plot with classic elements and twists like the Chronicler and the Mountain of Malefor with the two moon thing. Not to mention that Cynder was once our enemy and now our greatest ally! etc... It's supposed to be Epic! AND IT WAS!!! w00t

As for the movie I think that the reasone it's been takeing so long is that when we first heard about it, it was a leak! now every one is all exited and getting a little impatiant because they told us too early and all that impatiance is going to end up rushing the producers and cutting into our movie quality! that's why leeks are bad!!!!!! mad

Just be patiant and let them do there Job! Think about it. even if we have to wait another year or two the movie, when we finnally get it, will last forever! so long as you take good care of your cds. Now haveing them do it right and make somthing real good out of it is worth the wait wouldn't you agree. but if we get it tommorrow it will be crap... then we will have crap forever! Just... give the guys some space.... and the new games are cool!
(everyone is permitted there own opinion so don't drag others down with yours!)

P.S. I like all spyro! some games did better than others but I'm still a hardcore spyro fan and always will be! Just give the producers the time they need to do this right.... so we can have a blast! ...that's purple.

OK, I disagree with you that they're "epic," that they're anywhere near as good as the old ones, and a lot of other stuff. But that's not the point.

I resent it when people imply that both series should be loved equally by everyone. If you think about it, it makes perfect sense to love one and not the other. They're nothing alike.

You have a good point about taking their time with the movie, but we're not saying it needs to come out now. We're saying it's unlikely that it's even real because most professional producers would give one release date and stick to it.

I thought I said everyone has their own opinion! ..and yes, thay are not alike. How good a game is, is mostly a majority of preferance... unless the game is really bad as far as games go. But wether a game is good or not is totally up to the player! What i'm saying Is I thought they were epic... and aparently you don't! that's fine. but that dosn't change the game whatsoever.

And as for it being real... no , there is almost no proof, but a guy can hope can't he!
as for the release date... perhaps they just haven't decided. besides almost nothing we've seen so far is official... the poster was a LEAK! leaks generally happen when almoast nothing has been decided exept that they're going to do somthing. The release dates that we've seen so far are fan made! I'm pretty sure the producers have said nothing about the official release date! ...Oh, and until they are ready enough to put somthing out like a trailer, It's likely that there will be no info on it until that time, just like all the other games. ...so just hang on dude.

So let those of us who want to see this movie hope!
and if you don't think it's not gonna happen you can just wait and find out.
whatever the out come may be.

In the first paragraph it just seemed like you were trying to say that we shouldn't talk negatively about the movie because you're looking forward to it. If you weren't, then sorry, my fault again. In fact, I'm almost sure I misread your post because I was half doing something else at the time and not really paying attention to what I was reading. -__-

Well... I do like them both...Alott!
The first Spyros Were fun and were just plane cool to play.
and for me the second Spyros were the the cool story i could sink my teath into. I like the first games more for why I like to play them... and the same goes for the second generation Spyro games.

But like I said before..."everyone is permitted there own opinion so don't drag others down with yours!"

...Wait, it says Elijah Wood is doing the Spyro voice. Didn't we already find out he isn't on board with this project?

Another point of suspicion: there's no voice actor listed for Sparx or Cynder. Sparx and Cynder both got got new voice actors twice in the games, so it's not certain which actor would do their voices if there was a movie.

So either IMDB doesn't have enough information and just made stuff up, or this movie has been a rumor from the beginning that everyone believed. Hmm...

I think it could happen. If Elijah Wood doesn't play the part, I wouldn't be surprised if they looked up another.
