Yeah too bad for me... Well it is still pretty cool even though it's not the movie. well i thought the title was interseting enough! lol ...either people have completely given up on the movie, don't care, know it's cancelled or just don't get on the forum much. meh

3D animated film (cancelled)

On October 25, 2007, it was announced that the film rights for Spyro the Dragon had been purchased by The Animation Picture Company.[6] Daniel Altiere and Steven Altiere wrote the script, which was going to be based on the recently released The Legend of Spyro trilogy. The film was going to be coming out from Los Angeles, California and would be animated in Korea by a South Korean Animation studio, Wonderworld Studios. It was also going to produce the movie along with Universal Animation Studios. The film was also supposed to be produced by John Davis, Dan Chuba, Mark A.Z. Dippé, Brian Manis and Ash Shah. The film was to be distributed and advertised by Velvet Octopus along with Universal Studios. Mark Dippe was going to direct the film. This film was originally supposed to be released in theaters on Christmas 2009 for the United States and Canada, but it was delayed and it was also supposed to be released on April 10, 2010, but was never confirmed and has proven to be false. The next day, it was confirmed by Daniel Altiere himself that the movie had been officially cancelled due to decisions made by Activision.[7]

(hate to say it but it got canceled ><..at least spyro wont be ruined at least..like Eragon ruined the book) WELL IM JUST RUBBING IT IN I KNOW IM EVIL MUHAHAHAHA!

The Mini-Movies are great!! big_smile It's just like the game graphic just improoved; the voice actors are the same and the storyline follows the game's! It's really cool! smile I wonder if there are more of these and from where they popped out... are they really the original scenes from the movie canceled or are they completely another thing??

They're actually based on The Eternal Night, and they were only three cartoon shorts made.

No, the three Spyro shorts were made by an animation company called Renkewitz Studios, not by Krome Studios or the movie company that was working on the cancelled Spyro Movie.

oh, I see... but I'm surprised... since they were not involved in an official work on Spyro series, then why make those shorts? I'm not complaining, just surprised, pleasantly surprised! perhaps we can hope on them for the movie...

Yeah no kidding! me too! I wish they'ed hurry up, but on the other paw I don't want another rushed game or series! that would just suck!

Yeah, the new game must be done with the same dedication as the series before! good story, good graphics, good gameplay, etc.

I believe these were used as commercials for The Eternal Night.
Nonetheless, these three videos are cool. I really like them. Also, I think
whoever is making the next Spyro game should take their time creating it.
The more time they work on it, the better the game will be. If it's rushed,
the disk mind as well be used as a frisbee and/or ninja star to be thrown
at one's most disliked sibling.
