Re: Here are the cutscenes...
Eee, thank you Zekira! Now I can MST the game without playing (although I rather like playing it, too).
Re: David Spade
I sort of wonder if he wasn't either really tired the day he recorded his lines, really desperate, or drunk. Or maybe all three.

Re: Here are the cutscenes...
Hey Zekira, do you have the cutscene right after Spyro smacks that first spirit gem? Or was that not a cutscene? It's the part where he's talking about having this desire to just whack it and Sparx says he needs more sleep. That scene was comedy gold for Stoker and me.

Re: Here are the cutscenes...
as i have said before, Krome spent too much time on cutscenes when they should of thought about gameplay.
But i really do like the story in this game but of course insomniac could've done cutscenes if they wanted to (more i mean) and make the story all dark and like "The whole fate is in spyro's hands" and "If spyro doesn't do this the world will be a terrible place" but really insomniac wanted a more brighter game with still evil but a game that will make you laugh and have fun more.
I really dont understand why krome didn't make a spyro movie instead, hah owell.

Hm, I think I forgot that one. When my DVD Recorder is back and I have time.

Re: Here are the cutscenes...
Is it just me, or does anyone else like the middle cutscenes that used the in-game models better than the crazy-elaborate ones in the beginning and near the end? The characters looked so different and they were much easier to see when their (awesome) game models were in use.

Re: Here are the cutscenes...
dont know, but uhhhhh, these cutscenes make me sick, with there old grampa style fragile narration and there fireplace feel
haha, i dont really mean that, Krome did a fantastic work making the cutscenes seem like the dragons had no hope (especially gary oldman's voice)

What can I say? I just love video games! But I happily don't let them control my life. Let that be a lesson to you

Re: Here are the cutscenes...
I actually really liked the idea that Ignitus was telling a story, but the game never says to whom he is speaking this whole time. XD I guess they meant for him to be telling the story to you, the gamer, but it never really comes off like that. I like to imagine that he's gone partially insane and is just talking to himself.

Re: Here are the cutscenes...
razz, you put too much thought into it, obviously ignitis woldn't of known about alot of things reguading spyro unless spyro told him so i just think that the narrator isn't ignitis (even though the same voice) but just... The narrator or hes just ignitis but telling the story to us or someone else

Re: Here are the cutscenes...
No, the narrator really is Ignitus. At one point in the story, he says something like "And so, I met Spyro, again, for the first time. It's a long story." He also frequently mentions events in the first person, such as defending the Temple against the Dark Master's forces and loosing the eggs. I believe he also might name himself in the opening cutscene. I'll have to watch them again, but I do know without doubt that the narrator is Ignitus.

Re: Here are the cutscenes...
Once I finish TEN (if I even get it -_-) I'll evaluate on the scenes, but of course I'll prioritize my gameplay vids first before I'll record the scenes...

Well maybe its ignitus just telling us... like the narrator of a play who is a character too, they arn't talking to themselves, but "you"

Re: Here are the cutscenes...
Well in a play, you might have a narrator who is actualy sposed to be a character too, right?
Well yeah, they arn't talking to themselves, they are talking to you like your there, seeing them and listening.
Same as ignitus
In the real world that doesn't happen, but its a part of literature...

Re: Here are the cutscenes...
Oh yes, this I know. What confuses me is that Ignitus stops telling the story somewhere in the middle and never picks it back up again. I think the writers just forgot they were doing the whole "old man tells you a story" thing.

Re: Here are the cutscenes...
Well they diddn't need old man Ignits telling the story from that point on. The begininng needs some explaing but the rest you can figure out by yourself [who needs to be told wile watching it happen "and Cynder shrank in sizt till she was in origional form? Seriesly who's that Manmed[editing myself] dum to not see it????!!!? {ok besides my medicly retarded uncle}]

Re: Here are the cutscenes...
It's not that we need Ignitus to tell us the story, it's that he was telling it to us and having him stop for no given reason is a major oversight in the script. I think it would've been just fine to put Ignitus back into the story at that point and say exactly what you said just to keep the story going. Or at least have him say somewhere in the game "And so, we come at last to my current situation/where we are now/whatever". They could have kept this from being a clear mistake by having the story continue being told in TEN, but they didn't. Thus, we now know without question that it was an oversight.
