Aura walked over and made a feeble growl that coughed up more blood than it did noise. She also tried to pull Lucy away from the dragon while sribbling down something.

"He did this to me..."

It hurt. It hurt a lot. Lucy clenched her teeth together as Aura's paw touched her back and she tried not to scream. But she guessed that Aura was unaware of her burnt back, and so decided to let it go. "Aura, what--" She began, and then saw what she had written. "You mean... this is Ulkna?"

Lucy felt a combination of fear and wonder. Lying in front of her in a bloody mess was the 'demon dragon' whom had made so many people's lives a misery. The dragon who could tear people apart using the power of his mind alone. The dragon who... there were tons of horror stories that Lucy had heard about Ulkna, and she didn't know which ones were true and which ones weren't. Except the ones which had evidence of course, like the one armed man in the tavern.

But she couldn't just leave him to bleed, even if he was an evil psycho. She continued to hold his wound together, and was just about to call out again, but was silenced by the sound of rumbling hooves.

Colum landed on his back hard, so hard in fact, his skull bounced off the ground and the breath was forced from him. Gasping and blinking the blurryness and blackness from his eyes, the boy sighed and covered his eyes. He was terrafied that the trio would turn around and finish him off before "the flying scale-bucket" would find the time to lend a claw. The blackness that his fingers granted the boy was soothing, like the "if I can't see thme, they cant see me" idea. A total figment, but effective.

Faly dropped his hand from his eyes and felt a heat rise in his face. He clenched his jaw and balled his fists. In a flash the man flipped to hisstomic, jammed his knees under him, raised his fists and smashed them into the earth causing a small tuft of dust and rocks to become momentarily airborn.

"Dragon!" he called is a voice quivering with rage, "Come here, now!"

Zeel obeyed the command. At least the boy was okay. He didn't seem too happy, but then again, who would be after taking such abuse? He had been reluctant to intervene, as he did not want to become the target of Ulkna's soldiers again.

Lucy's hands were still on Ulkna's wound as she tried her best to keep the blood from flowing even more. She had it all over her hands too. She looked up as the rumbling sound got louder, and sighed in relief as three large centaurs approached. They seemed to notice the situation, and suddenly sped into a gallop. Lucy carefully got to her feet and said, "Oh, thank goodness. I stopped some of the blood-flow and--"

"Move it, peasant!" Idris snapped at her as he slowed down. Lucy frowned and did as she was told. She stood next to Aura and watched them.

"How are we going to carry him?" Marko asked.

"Somehow." Idris bent down at Ulkna's head and said, "Your Majesty? Can you hear us?" No response. Idris sighed and stood up. He snapped his head round at Lucy. "How long has he been like this, peasant?"

Lucy bit her lip. She hated being called a peasant. While it was true, she thought it was such a stereotypical word. "I-I don't know." She replied, "I just saw him lying there, and thought that I might be able to help."

"Some help you were!" Tomas smirked at her as he approached Idris. "Well? How the hell are we gonna move him?"

"One way or another." Idris stepped back and examined the situation. After a few moments, he pointed to Tomas and then to Ulkna's back. Tomas nodded and went to his given post. Idris then pointed at Marko and then to Ulkna's head. After he had moved to his post, Idris then joined Tomas, but on the other side of Ulkna. "OK, after three, we lift."

"What?!" Tomas exclaimed.

"Idris, I don't think--" Marko began.

"Just try it!" Idris snapped, irritated. "Come on, it's not like he can help us in this state."

Tomas and Marko exchanged glances, shrugged and then bent down. Tomas grabbed onto Ulkna's right hind limb, and Marko placed his hands under the dragon's neck. Idris then grabbed hold of Ulkna's left hind limb.

"OK, one... two... three... LIFT!"

All three centaurs groaned as they heaved Ulkna up off the ground. Their legs buckled as the dragon lay limply over them, his blood dripping onto the floor. After a great deal of wobbling and grunting, they started to walk forward with Ulkna.

Lucy watched with amazement. Wow, they must be so strong! She thought. She could see that Aura was wound up, so she placed her hand on her side. After the centaurs and the fallen dragon were out of sight, she turned to Aura, Link and Lexon. "Right, so... What now then?" She asked lamely.

((Kinda unrealistic I know, but it's the only way I could think of! XD Oh and guys, this bit's quite important. This is the first time that all the protagonists are all together in one place. I plan to have them all have a conversation about their experiences with Ulkna, and then decide that something needs to be done about him. After that, I'll do a timeskip to the next morning and I can bring Ulkna back in. How's that? Any issues or questions, PM me.))

Both Lexon and Link stayed where they were. Even Link wasn't opposing. After all, 3 centaurs and a Dragon would be risky, and though he hated Ulkna, he couldn't do anything since Lucy didn't want it, and since Lucy was on Lexon's side, it could only bring Link trouble. Complex thinking.
"He's gone. What 'bout that." Lexon said. "I wonder how scary he would've been."
"He's very strong and..." Link said
"Shut it... Link."
Both Dragons walked further away from each other, Lexon staring at Lucy and then the sky, Link staring at the place where Ulkna and the 3 centaurs walked away.

Lucy scowled at the two dragons. "Honestly, couldn't you at least try to get along? You barely know each other!"

She turned her attention to Aura. "Well, what should we do? Should we go and look for Aurgal? Shall I help you?" She asked, her back getting stiffer and stiffer by the second. Why was she even volunteering? A good bath and a lie down was what she needed.

"I see..." Lucy felt sorry for Aura in a way. This was her brother they were talking about after all. Lucy had met him eariler, and he wasn't a thing like he was just now. She'd got most of it figured out, but she wanted to ask Aura more questions. Eventually she decided to leave it; she didn't want to upset her further.

She patted Aura on the side reassuringly and then turned to Lexon, "Well, I hope you've seen enough, because I have. What will you do now?"

((Could Colum and Zeel come over to them eventually?))

"What?" Link shouted.
"Aye. Afraid?"
"Hmph. Nah."
"We can also try to find Aurgal, of course. Maybe we can get him back to normal."
"That sounds better to me."
"Your choice, Lucy. I don't care much."

Lucy shook her head. "No, let's not follow them. I've seen enough. I never wanted to meet him, and I ended up trying to stop him from bleeding to death."

Despite these words, Lucy was very eager to learn more about Ulkna. As crazy as it sounded, she figured that he couldn't possibly be the psychotic murderer many people had branded him as; she had met many people who liked to exaggerate. And even if he was, surely there must be a reason as to why he was like that.

"But what I need is a good bath and a lie down." Lucy said, trying to hide her pain. "I only have two more hours and I must get up for work again..." Are you crazy?! She asked herself, I'm practically crippled. No, screw Morgan and his precious pub. I'm not going in tomorrow.

She turned to Aura. "What will you do now?" She asked, "Do you need accommodation? I think the inn where I stay has a room or two available..."

"OK, you can come with me back to the inn then. Do you have money? I think it's 50 Gold for a room for a week. I've been living there ever since I arrived here, about 2 months ago. It's a nice little place, I think you'll like it." Lucy smiled at Aura and patted her on the snout. "If you don't have money then... I'm not sure what you can do I'm afraid... No accommodation free in Warfang, as you might imagine."

Faly's mind was filled with thoughts of vengence. Those beasts had humiliated him, threatened him, slapped him around, and accosted him, and for what? Because he acted civil to them hair brutes.

Not again, he thought, I'll make sure that they know suffering for such blind disrespect. Shave the beasts then rip off there arms and beat one them with each others limbs till they scream no more.

The man made only 6 or 7 steps with this hate in his mind, then, as if he was deflating, the man's steps slowed and he covered his eyes, thinking clearly, the darkness leading the clarity.

Colum dropped his hand and clambered upon Zeel with such finesse, he surprised himself.

"Zeel," he began, finding a place to sit that limited the chance of impalement upon the dragon's horns, "do you know of anywhere to get a drink and lie down? I'm dead on my feet... and your back!" he gaffued at his oun joke.

Zeel immediately recalled hearing of a place that matched Colum's description. "Ah... I might know a place like that. However, I've heard about it before I was taken as a slave, and I've never been there, so I might not have the most precise memory of its location. Would you like me to try to lead you?" Oh, well, it was worth a try... he thought.

"Sure." Lexon said, fetching a few gemstones and some pieces of gold from somewhere. "This'll be enough, I guess. Here ya go." He gave some pieces of gold to Link, guessing he had nothing. "How kind of you." Link responded. "It's nothin'. I don't wanna be responsible for your death." was the answer.

"Please, lead away," began Colum, "every time I lead somewhere it ends with me getting beaten by some sort of anamorphic beastie! Maybe if you lead the way, I can avoid getting bashed up by something that isn't... or hell, even is human!"
