Spyro and Cynder: Brother and sister

Ha, at first I thought this was my first topic I did while I was a little crazy with fever.
I think that Spyro did need a girlfreind/mate of the sort, but Cynder never did it in the right way. So yes, they should have been.

That would have been awesome and *gasp* not cliche. Who would have ever thought it possible?

Cynder (and Spyro, for that matter) would still need some serious character development for me to ever be able to like them, though.

Yup. That's now what I regard them as, since it said so in the GBA version on TEN (and somebody without internet wouldn't know the mistake!) and it's possible that Cynder could have said 'I love you' to Spyro in a sibling-y way because she's never really loved, being all dark and emo and whatnot...

You must forget that at the very end, after the credits, spyro and cynder were flying around happily, laughing and chasing each other around. of course, there is a possibility of sisterly love, but the tone in which she said it would make me think of romantic feelings.

I thought they were brother and sister ever since ignitus told spyro they were closer than he thought he was to cynder. I was like oh that has to be his sister, then they say they were born around the same time? I dont remember if they said that they were born at the Same time or not though.

But dont worry if we don't tell them the world won't collapse (again).
The only girls are Cynder *drools*, and Ember and we all know Ember is sort of a *bleep*, leaving Spyro for an armadillo, what is more crazier than that? Can that even happen I mean a Dragon/Armadillo HYBRID!!! a HYBRID!!!

Would it really be that awkward if they found a connection and then later found out that they were siblings? Even if this series is directed towards little kids, kids aren't stupid, they would understand the irony...right?

A dragon/armadillo hybrid sounds like it could be cool.

Anyway, all the eggs were in the same batch of eggs from the same source (fairy realm, stork nest, etc) so I assume they are siblings.

If that is the case then it might stir up their little relationship in some way. Then again, it's not clear that they were given birth by the same parents/mates biological-wise but... maybe step sister?

Frankly, I would have preferred if they had been siblings. It makes the story less cliche. And it doesn't actually interfere with their "relationship" since it does not, as yet, exist.

Cynder saying "I love you" isn't different from Luke Skywalker kissing Leia before he knew she was his sister.

Unfortunately, at least for now, it has been confirmed by Chris Wilson that Spyro and Cynder aren't related in any way. It'd be nice if they'd tell us how, since we have no idea where those eggs came from.
