So...Who still wants a movie?
I know...I know the spyro movie was canceled But if we keep askin them they might reconsider... ya know ...popular demand can go along way.
If the spyro movie was calceled then that means at some time it was in production. that means that, at the very least, this whole spyro movie rummer was more than some dum hater trying to mess with us...and that, at least, is more than some of us expected.
Maybe they just ran out of funding or somthing like that but don't give up yet.
All I'm sayin is that if we keep asking, those of us who still wanna see this thing might still have a chance at getting a movie somtime. :-X

Re: So...Who still wants a movie?
i want a Spyro movie, it'd be great, but... i can't be certain. maybe it'd end up being bad, and do the franchise more bad than good.
i would have to see what they're planning on first.

Re: So...Who still wants a movie?
Yeah and me honestly, I'd prefer to have a couple more games before a movie release.

It would've been great. But in my opinion, a new game would've been better.

Re: So...Who still wants a movie?
I still want a spyro movie, but only if they stick to the story without changes.
That might be some of the reasons they cancelled, because of a problem with the company their going with (to make the movie) want to change it.

Re: So...Who still wants a movie?
I'd rather have games than movies.
And there's a good chance that a movie wouldn't help Spyro's popularity. It would have to be a pretty darn good movie!...

I agree and evan then i dob't anyone will bother. Lets just be honest here about new game fans on stuff...
Spyro "ITS CRAPP I MISS OLD PS1 SPYRO AFFTER THAT IT WAS CRAPP!!!" them fans would not be happy to see a film where its nothing like old spyro and would atomaticly think its an abomination...

Re: So...Who still wants a movie?
It would be great to have a movie but I would want another game though more. I still imagine myself sitting in the theatre watching it.

Re: So...Who still wants a movie?
I can't wait for a new Spyro game. They said the timeline would be the same, though it'd not a new story out of the TLOS trilogy. I really hope they will confirm soon that they're being busy working on a new Spyro game.

Re: So...Who still wants a movie?
i'd much prefer spyro to remain (some what),
a gameing icon,
not for "oh yer i like spyro"
"ppffft, you meen that (bad word here) move"
if they're going to do it they'll have to do it right,
like transformers, after watching all the org cartoon series.
i thought it would be pants,
how i was wrong.

Re: So...Who still wants a movie?
As much as I would like to see a spyro movie come out I think i would trade a movie for a well made game! something i could really sink my teeth into. I don't mind waiting for it, so long as they don't hand out another let down like the movie thing was. I really do hope they put allot of effort into this new game and give us fans something to be proud of!

Re: So...Who still wants a movie?
I would actually like a movie, just get different producers.
I'd rather have a game like everyone else though.

You are *bleep* right! A movie would be nice, diffrent producers would have been nice, how about Peter Jackson? LOL.
Please god no be Uwe Boll! (Not all of his movies were that bad but I hated House of the Dead, I think, not sure actually) but yeah better producers next time in later attemps for a Spyro Film.

I have to agree about the producers, some of the films they have been responsable for were abominations.

Same here, if they actually get some decent producers in then there would be more hope for a decent film. Peter Jackson would be a good director for the film because he can make a masterpiece in a small time scale, (While James Cameron was making Avatar which is a good film, Peter Jackson managed to make district 9, King Kong, all 3 Lord Of The Rings Films etc. in the same time), so for Peter Jackson to make a film would be great.

Re: So...Who still wants a movie?
uh oh... it just occurred to me. what if they do like legend of zelda... she's in the mane, but has nothing to do with the game!
i mean, what if spyro just disappears and a new purple dragon appears and stuff, and it's really wierd????
