Merthoth (The more updated version!)

“Merthoth, Merthoth wake up you idiotic whelping!”
Ah yes, I loved the chalky, smelly voice of Gaul waking me up at dawn, not, I hated that ape faced buffoon!
“Shut up Gaul, you’re lucky I’m not allowed to burn idiots like you to the crisp.” The sly smile I had on my face was like that of when I watched Percival nick one of them crystals that dad (Ahem, Malefor) uses.
“Garr… and YOU’RE lucky your Malefor’s precious little daughter.” (The tone on his voice was almost as high as when I jabbed my sword like tail- end in his private, dad got really angry at me for that, though I saw he was trying not to crack up, he does it after all.)
“All right that’s it hair boy!” I growled and shot up from lying in my tower (The best spot to throw rocks at unsuspecting apes.) I ran at him, sparks zapped out of my nostrils and I leapt over him opening my pointy teeth filled mouth and bit him as hard as I could. (Recent rumors say that he tastes like musk, though how they know is unknown) He actually tasted a bit like really tangy apple!
The roar of pain screeched through my ear holes, actually it wasn’t a screech; it was more of a moan. After that it was just black, supposedly I got knocked out.

When I woke for some reason I was in the mines, Percival stood next to me, a wide grin on his face.
Percival unlike all the other apes weren’t; Annoying, dumb, ugly (well, no comment on that) and just plain MEAN.
“Percival, why am I here?”
“Gaul said you needed a little punishment, so now you need to clear out the slurmites for poor old me.”
“I really hate that B@st@rd you know?”
“Your not alone on that.” Winked Percival
Giving a slight smile I stood up and began my work.

Re: Merthoth (The more updated version!)

I followed Percival through the mines until we arrived at our destination.
All around I saw gems- and on most I Slurmites gnawing on them.
Slurmites are like giant see through centipedes that have a love for gems, you see slurmites spit acid and that become a great problem for the miners. The only way to kill them is to flip them on their backs and stem them, a hard procedure, unless you can wield ice, I being a purple dragon should know how to but I have only learnt basic fire techniques, which doesn’t affect them at all.
I began to creep behind one of the slurmites when suddenly a great spear of ice shot out from behind.
Yelping in surprise I turned around to see my obnoxious big brother.
“Merdath!!” I growled, but he just laughed.
Merdath is my older brother, he for some reason is black and has a green underbelly, I once asked him why he was black and all he ever said was "You'll see."
What did he mean by that?
Today I found out.
Today was the worst day of my life.
"What are you doing here!?" I demanded, still shaken form the ice spear.
"Don't ask me, dad'll explain it all."
I grimaced; dad doesn’t normally order Merdath to get me.
I followed Merdath until we came to his corruption room.
"Merdath what are w- Aargh!" At that moment I was chained to a wooden post.
At that moment Gaul began to use a spell I knew- And feared- the corruption spell.
He used it on me.
A dark black hit me, I felt no pain until I felt my bone's grow, my smooth purple scales became as black as night.
The dagger like thing on my tail lengthened to a sword like object.
Screaming from the horrific pain I begged dad to stop, but he just sat there, oblivious to my begs.
Now I was as tall as dad, but much skinnier.
Opening my eyes I stared into my reflection from a pool of blood. (Whose blood, I don't know.)
And saw my eyes glow a ghastly blue.
Facing my father I felt an infinite rage and charged at him, but he dodged it and ordered for everyone to leave.
I was still charging at my father, but my body was new and I was clumsy.
At that moment the doors closed and I was locked in, alone.

I like it!  Though, I do feel bad for what happened to Methoth sad. Has the corruption spell made her grow up, or turn into an evil dragon? smile Would love to read more.

Re: Merthoth (The more updated version!)

"Can you fly?” I asked, peering over at his right wing- It was definitely the largest wing I have ever seen, but was completely charred.
“After a week’s rest it should be fine until then by paw.”
“Okay then, let’s get moving.”
And on that paw, the true journey began.

We had walked until the sun had set crimson, giving Grandeth a lustrous gold glow.
“So how did you manage to be exile?” I asked, hoping he’d talk about it.
“Well at first my dad, a low rank dragon, came across this other dragon that wasn’t an armour and well that’s how I was born, of course the female fled until I was just born and she gave the egg to dad… so yeah everyone snarled at me because I was more flexible and less rock like and now I was age to be an exile, they burnt my wing to prove it.”
“Wow… that’s terrible… I actually ran away, my dad is very moody… besides I have no mum… Uh oh it’s getting dark; we need to find a cave.”
What’s this weird feeling I’m getting? I thought, and then it stuck me.
I think I’m in love!
Later we found a nice cave and began to settle down; the crimson sun was already becoming a narrow slit in the massive valley, at that moment I heard a voice that I never wish to hear again.
“Who dare’s enter my cave?” Whispered a dry and raspy voice- it sounded female.
Grandeth began to whimper, he may look strong but he was frightened to the point of cowering behind me.
But I stood strong, no female is going to scare me, or harm my love.
“I’m Merthoth, my cohort here is Grandeth, but who might you be?” I growled.
The thing chuckled, its face hidden in the darkness.
“Angry one aren’t ya?”
“Angry one aren’t ya- shut it creepy and female.” I mocked, attempting to anger the owner of the cave.
The thing began to growl, after that a buzz of electricity began to rumble in the cave, the thing pounced to reveal a comically small dragon, not even two quarters of my size, that was encased in electricity.
The dragon’s wing’s chilled me to the bone, for she had no wings-
A monster among dragons.
Jumping out of the way I decided to freeze her whole body- but left her head free.
“Nargh! Stupid dragon!” She roared, jolts of electricity ran out of her fangs.
“Let us stay- we’re passing by.”
At that moment she stopped struggling and stared at Grandeth.
“Fine, but leave as soon as possible… my name is Ruby.”
So I unfroze Ruby and we settled to sleep, but I noticed Grandeth couldn’t take his eyes off Ruby, it worried me.

Re: Merthoth (The more updated version!)

I had been two weeks since we met Ruby, Grandeth’s wing had become increasingly better, but he couldn’t fly just yet.
Ruby seemed to ignore me almost to the point that I was invisible, but she treated Grandeth so kindly and almost lovingly.

“I told you already Merthoth! Grandeth shouldn’t fly yet.” Shrieked Ruby, droplets of electricity was dripping from her mouth, here eyes wild with anger.
Ruby and I were arguing about if Grandeth should try and fly for a bit but Ruby was in denial.
I paused staring at her dark purple eyes, my rage was obvious.
“Can I have just a little more rest?” Asked Grandeth, who was curled up in a ball of gold.
“Fine” I growled until I saw what Grandeth was hiding.
“Is that an…!” I began to growl uncontrollably, I had seen an egg.
I ran at Grandeth, behind me Ruby was crying out in terror, Grandeth shut his eyes tight, as if I was the sun burning at him.
I picked him up with my mouth and threw him aside. (Mind you he was as heavy as *bleep*)
There it was, a silver egg.
I grabbed the and lifted off the ground (Careful not to break it though)
Ruby was crying out in fear and Grandeth instinctively got up.
Turning around I snarled at him.
“How dare you Grandeth! Why Ruby over me!” I growled, my anger was apocalyptic.
Grandeth just stared at me.
“You’ll pay!” I roared before I flew off.

Re: Merthoth (The more updated version!)

The sky was clear like glass, for a moment I felt peaceful- but you always wake up from good dreams early.
It was a black dragon like me, her wings were red like blood, she also looked somewhat like me.
“Hey! You!” I called out at the dragoness (Her body was too sleek to be male), she turned to me, her eyes glowed a dismal yellow, she turned back and continued her flight.
“Hey! I’m talking to you!” I barked, but she kept flying.
So that’s how you wanna play, huh?
I launched my self at the strange dragon and dug my claws into her back, blood dripped from her back; her cries of pain were like a screeching bat and made me flinch.
Dragons do not make that noise.
She turned around and hissed at me “How dare you hurt me, beast!” She howled, her voice low and temperamental.
Her tail took a blow to my head, but I ignored and struck at her.
“What’s your name, dragon?” I snarled at her.
“Cynder, you must be Merthoth, Master told me about you.”
Master? I thought horrifically, Malefor.
“So, how’s the betrayer doing then?” She asked smugly.
I growled angrily.
“Give dad this message.” I lashed out at her with a claw, tearing some wing.
“Aargh!”
Cynder spat at me and flew off; I gave myself a smug smile of victory, and continued my way to the White Isle.
Despite my size my wings were beginning to become weary, my eyelids also felt like a pair of rocks.
Overhead the mighty ocean was coming into view, but a raging storm was also not so far overhead.
I sighed “I’ll never make it.”
A low wail came from the sea- it sounded like a whale in a way.
The creature was large- able to fit at least three dragons, the eight oar-like flippers made it a powerful swimmer, it’s head looked liked a turtle.
The creature another wail, urging me onto its’ back.
The rocky back of the animal served good protection against the harsh ocean; it wasn’t long before we reached a small Island.
It had White sand on the coast and not so far off was a grand cave.
Stepping off the creatures back I wailed at me once more before vanishing back into the storm.
