Random Thing I Saw

From a friend. This is about a media analyser.

She's called Irene Yue Zheng.

Re: Random Thing I Saw

They are working on the title for the next game, for the Spyro series. I do wonder why he only said "Spyro" instead of Spyro the Dragon series. Probably to shorten the title.

Re: Random Thing I Saw

Unless that was part of her title testing job, seeing if people would freak at the shortened title.  wink

Re: Random Thing I Saw

Obviously, this person posted an online profile of her experience, and what she worked on, including game companies for their game titles. And LinkedIn is a business oriented site that allows registered users to maintain a list of contact details of people they know and trust in business. This is proof enough, that this person worked with Activision on the production title of the next Spyro game.

Title test" is a marketing term that is used to describe the relationship between a title for something (a film, for example), and the concepts that title suggests to the audience (i.e., if you hear about a film called "Zombie Island", you'll know right away that it has both zombies and islands in it).

Re: Random Thing I Saw

It's nice to know that companies at least mention Spyro these days.
There's still hope out there. I mean ... Spyro is the only great dragon
game anywhere on the market. Someone should be interested in
continuing it. But these days, it seems to be all about "FPS" games.

Screw the FPS games, I want my Spyro!

I must agree, IMO FPS can not be developed to mutch, they add little things, its not like JRPGs where every one is unic in its own way.

Im not mutch of a spyro fan nowerdays, but thees days we NEED more platformers, not just crappy PSN games that last 2 minuets.

We have plenty of FPS games for now give it RPG's and Platformers.

Re: Random Thing I Saw

Jackson117, isn't Halo, Halo 2, and Halo 3 a role-playing game? I mean ...
the player plays as Master Chief. He's a main character, so it seems like
it's a mix of FPS + RPG.

Re: Random Thing I Saw

As long as that statement doesn't refer to Herpy related things. I,
personally, like most Spyro related things. But not all.
