Has anyone seen this before?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Kc2gGycBXc
It's a really interesting video of Stewart Copeland being interviewed on how he created the music for Spyro the Dragon, and he did the same for Ripto's Rage, Year of the Dragon and Enter the Dragonfly.
I hope to be a composer like him one day.

Re: Has anyone seen this before?
I saw this video on a playstation underground disc I got shortly after purchasing my playstation console. I admired it very much. Good music.
Got to admit, though, by the end of year of the dragon, his style of music was getting a little old. A good 50% of his work for Spyro sounds like the same song over and over, and not only because it was made with the same cadences and ambiences.
I'm guessing if an aspiring composer wanted to make music for a video game today, he wouldn't dare show the way Stewart is making the music in this game--a little elementary. Just my opinion.
Wake me up... when September ends is here...
