Do you use Cheat Codes on the spyro games???

Just asking because I can not imagine why someone even would.
If your a true fan of Spyro and it's your first time attempting to beat the
game, I suggest not using cheats until you have beaten the game.
But if you don't well then that's completely up to you [/b]

In fact, I even try to get the flawless victory skillpoints on Spyro 2 without the superflame. because if you get the skill point with superflame, you're not really that skillful. Ikinda hated the fact that you could no longer use your regular flame after you unlocked that.

Yeah that was very upsetting to me too sad everything got way to easy after that witch is why I tried making a new one and instead of getting the flame I just got everything else and left it behind. But yeah besides that, the cheat code thing, that's what I do even on the most difficult parts of the game like
killing Malafor with out dieing haha that was kind of hard for me cause every time I was at the end he always found a way to kill me BUT I FINALLY DID IT HAHAHAAAAAAAAA W00T

I usually wait till I beat a game before I ever use cheat codes but for some reason in DotD I used them in the middle/near end of the game. I dunno why, I may have been stuck or something I don't remember.

I can understand a game getting so difficult that it becomes not fun. I was so glad that I co-oped with someone the first time I played DotD, even we die about 500 times, and maybe 100 just on Malefor. I was ok with this because I knew when I played it a second time through it would be a lot easier.

Learn to relish the time you have playing a game through for the first time. You'll never get a second 'first playthrough.'

I never use cheats on my 1st playthrough of a game. I wait until after I beat the game then use cheats mainly when I'm bored *like the different color spyro's in spyro 2 and 3* Sometimes I do use the unlock all moves cheat in spyro 2 though.

I have never used a cheat on any Spyro game XDDDD w00t
only if I was just playing around not doing anything serious ^^
I got 100% on all of my Spyro games big_smile
But hey people do what they gotta do and I respect that smile

This is how the Swaff rolls when it comes to cheating:

- If it's Call of Duty, go all-out. Hack, cheat, glitch, teamkill, do everything.
- If not Call of Duty, respect the game. Complete it, then I may cheat.
- For multiplayer, I may boost if it doesn't ruin other people's experience.

I only use cheats to change Spyro's color before beating a game.
After I beat the game for example in the first game. I just use the select all worlds cheat to explore levels I like to go. tongue

I do remember I used the infinite lives cheat in Season of Flame, just because it's annoying getting "game over"s, their just a waste of time.

And I guess it's not technically a cheat code. It's more of a loophole glitch that miss calculates how many lives you have and fails to issue the proper game over when you 'deserve it.' Fortunately, Attack of the Rhynocs did away with lives.

If I'm only playing the game for the "story" and the gameplay sucks (aka, all of LoS), you bet I'm using cheats. ANB didn't need them, TEN should have had them (because that was miserable), and I used cheats on DotD from the Valley of Avalar onward. It didn't make my "enjoyment" of the games any less (because, frankly, there wasn't that much to enjoy). It's a game. If it's giving you trouble and you just want to get past a part, there's nothing wrong in the slightest with using a cheat.

Dunno if the original games had cheats. I played them the hard way because I had to, but man do I ever love playing through RR with the super flame permanently on. It makes the game a lot more fun for me. big_smile

I've never used cheat codes in the Spyro series.

Though in one of the old Spyros I used a code to change his skin color but that was like 8 years after I beat them all? XD
