This is completely untrue. Most of the people who make this kind of work are fans just like you. They may be older or have different tastes. A very few of them have been paid by fans to do that work. But they are fans no different from anyone else on this forum. It's not impossible that much of this work has been done by people you speak with daily on these forums, they just choose not to speak of it here because this is not an appropriate place for that kind of discussion. What drives people away from a loved series is fellow fans who attack them (for various reasons), boredom with a franchise, or a beloved franchise changing into something they don't like as it ages.
As for finding this work on Google, just turn your safe search options on and that will solve the problem.

Re: BIG MEETING, RIGHT NOW!!! *read this post*
How so? Dirty art is just a form of expression that most human beings engage in one way or another. Making a big deal out of it is what makes it truly lewd.
Also, it is recommended that you stop sharing your pornographic links in PMs. The mods here can read them and giving pornographic material of any sort to anyone under the legal age of consent (18 in the US) makes both you and the person you sent the link to if they are under age law breakers. I'm in my 30s, so you won't be in any trouble from sending what you did to me, but most of the other members of this forum are not legally old enough to view that stuff.
I should also like to add that you might want to wait for a confirmation before sending that kind of material to anyone. I really didn't need to see it to know what it was and I would have preferred not to have it sent to me at all.

Re: BIG MEETING, RIGHT NOW!!! *read this post*
Looking over the first post, I didn't see anything that mentioned specific pieces or linked to anything. In all honesty, the first post is hard to understand, but it looks like the poster was more bothered by trying to look up Spyro and Cynder and having Google suggest something unsavory automatically.
It's probably good to know some of these laws. While law enforcement on the Internet is a bit vague, it's better to be safe than sorry. You've still got two years left before you're legally supposed to be seeing this stuff (though I don't think you'll get in trouble by anyone but your parents at this stage if you keep it to yourself).

Also talking about "Age of Constant", I think it's divided into states, not countries.
For example, I live in Louisiana where the age of constance is 17.
And some other states it's 16, 19, and somewhere 15!
So, it's actually one year. lol. But I'm not really that desperate to look at pornographic material.

I believe age of consent and legal adulthood may be different, but I'm not entirely sure. All I know is that you do have to be 18 in the US to legally view pornography.

Furries aren't all bad. In fact, I would say that about 80-90% of people that consider themselves a furry aren't really into the whole "a good excuse to grind" thing. These artists love what others have done and what they can do too as far as creating and admiring the fursuits, and they have an appreciation for it more than any of us.
In a way, they have more culture than we do. And by "we" I mean people who haven't been exposed enough to the furry community. I'm fascinated with it myself, but I am in no way a convention-goer.

Hey, you know furries are known to be drama queens? If another furry sees this, they may not take it as lightly as I have. You're lucky that I'm one of the more level headed furries.
People have a right to draw/write whatever they want. If that's what they are into, then that's what they will do. If you don't like it, then there is no reason for you to look at it.

For the record, furry is very loosely defined and all of you fall within the furry category because you like a game series about talking dragons and other animal people. I just thought you'd like to know.

It's got to the point where Furry is mixed up now, Does anything with talking animals always have to be furry? As far as the dragon aspect goes there seems to be nothing there.

Re: BIG MEETING, RIGHT NOW!!! *read this post*
When it comes right down to it, most people have no idea what furries really are. I've been in and out of that fandom and it is literally no better or worse than anime fandom (the two are remarkably similar, in fact).
A "furry" is just a person who likes animal people for any reason. Mostly, they're really just sci-fi/fantasy fans (most furry art and writing revolves around this genre), but they may also be animation fans or video game fans. If you ever laughed at an old Bugs Bunny cartoon, you do fall into the category of being a furry.
Dragons fit in with this because they are usually animal people. They may be a mix of animals, but the fact that most of the ones we like best speak English and come in our favorite colors means that they are still anthropomorphic ("human characteristics existing in a thing that is not human") enough to fall into this category.
What I'm saying here is that you guys shouldn't bash the furries when you yourselves meet all the criteria of being a part of that fandom. But, really, you shouldn't bash other fans, anyway. They like what they like and their reasons for liking this stuff are as varied as yours are for liking Spyro.

Re: BIG MEETING, RIGHT NOW!!! *read this post*
No and more No, Anime/Magna was a style of animation that was first for the culture of japan in a long while, facial expressions or actions were done in a fashion different to Western culture (People going dramatic looks while Magna would have the super white eyes and water pouring down from it).
Yes they are similar but it's that's like stating Vore is like Guro.
Magna/Anime was a way for that culture
Furry fandom is a idea evolved to a trope and gene.
Furry in my mind only applies if the Creature is Anthro and has human like qualities, LOS's Dragon kind doesn't really strike at me like that since they have rather animal tendency, think of the Land Before Time, Anyone who states they have furries can be V headbutted out of the room. I mean i didn't see a dragon wear a cloak or clothing

Re: BIG MEETING, RIGHT NOW!!! *read this post*
You can have all the opinions you like about a thing, my friend, but that doesn't make them facts. Let me break this down.
I wasn't aware of a difference between vore and guro. They both are a kind of violent art depicting the objectification and often mutilation of someone for the express purpose of erotic enjoyment, and both have their roots in anime. You didn't really make your case any better with that statement.
As for what manga is and is not: you appear to be unaware that manga and anime exist because of Walt Disney. His animations inspired the father of manga (whose name I can't recall, but he wrote AstroBoy and a ton of other things) and Disney's influence is still evident in all forms of anime and manga to this day. It was Disney's heavy stylization of people and other things that influenced manga's specific style (most notably the large eyes, but there are other specific examples I can't recall off the top of my head). Manga/anime exists because of western animation and still draws inspiration from it to this day.
However, I was not speaking of that particular art form, but rather of the fandoms that go with it. To reiterate: furry fandom is no different (literally) than anime fandom. I have been to both furry and anime conventions and see the same behaviors in each. The only main difference is that anime cons are usually bigger. Incidentally, both fandoms share the same vile habits (though anime fans tend to be the instigators of many things that furries later adopt, such as vore).
Magna/Anime was a way for that culture
Furry fandom is a idea evolved to a trope and gene.
Are you aware that anime and manga artists are considered among the lowest forms of workers in Japan? With very few exceptions, the Japanese consider these people a drain on their society and are culturally indifferent to the art form (the only animated film to ever receive much praise from the Japanese was Hayao Miyazaki's "Spirited Away").
Furry fandom is a sub-genre of the wider sci-fi/fantasy genre. Like anime/manga, furry works deal with all manner of subject matter (from the over-hyped erotica to family friendly kids stories to detective series and so on). Furry media is as diverse as Naomi Novik's Temeraire novels to any given Disney film (because I can't think of a single one that doesn't have at least one talking animal in it).
That's a fine opinion, but it has no basis in reality. Get to know some furries before making such blunt over generalizations. There are thousands of non-anthro furry characters out there (the cast of The Lion King, the dragons of EE Knight's Age of Fire novels, the rabbits in Watership Down, etc). The only qualification for something to be anthro (which is a shortened version of the term "anthropomorphic", which simply means to ascribe human characteristics to something that is not human) is that we perceive it as having a human quality (we anthropomorphize our pets all the time, and they don't even talk).
An anthropomorphic creature (aka, a furry) is simply a non-human thing that has human qualities. They do not need clothing to be considered furries (and, just so you know, Land Before Time and most Don Bluth films are huge cult films within the furry fandom). Spyro is an English-speaking crocodile/bird/bat/etc. hybrid with very human morality raised by a family of clothes-wearing dragonflies and sent out to save a world which contains talking animals (who also wear clothes and use human weapons and tools) and at least one other dragon who reads books designed for humans and wears clothing (the Chronicler). Speaking as someone who does know what furries are and are not (because I've been one and I know dozens of them and have been to their conventions), this is as textbook a case of a furry title as The Lion King (none of them wear clothes, either, but that film also falls into the furry classification).
To sum up, a furry is literally just someone who likes animal people. They've been around since before ancient Egypt and they aren't going away anytime soon. Animal people are any creatures who display any human characteristics (we have had such creatures since the dawn of language and probably before). The Spyro franchise is full of animal people of all shapes and sizes. Ergo, the people who are fans of it are considered to fall into the category of furry fans.
If the term "furry" bothers you (and it's understandable, since that specific word has come to denote the small but loud percentage of the fanbase that is quite crude), just say you like anthropomorphs or talking animal people. Or stop splitting hairs and just lump it all in with being a fantasy/sci-fi fan and call it a day. That works best for me.
But, really, (and this is to all of you, not just Jackson117) stop making these crass judgments based solely on the fact that furries are the butt of all Internet jokes right now. Just for liking Spyro alone you expose yourself to this exact treatment by others. So do yourself a favor and stop looking down your nose at people who are just like you.

You should write a book Norman!!! LOL
...If you ever laughed at an old Bugs Bunny cartoon, you do fall into the category of being a furry...
I see what your saying, but isn't that including too many people? Why not just say we're all furries because we are technically animals, and we all have our loved ones right?? And if you agree with that, I think that "furry" would imply nothing at all.

Re: BIG MEETING, RIGHT NOW!!! *read this post*
Well, my name is "Norm D. Plume" (nome de plume) and Ghost Writter is my chosen avatar. *grin* I'm not rightly sure what I would write a book about if I did. Maybe I can gather together my various forum tirades into one collected treatise on inconsequential fandom. *grin*
I see what your saying, but isn't that including too many people? Why not just say we're all furries because we are technically animals, and we all have our loved ones right?? And if you agree with that, I think that "furry" would imply nothing at all.
This is a good point. What I'm trying to say is that the basic definition of a furry is someone who likes talking animal people, and that really can apply to a lot of folks, not just the perverts you've heard about on the news (who make up a very small portion of the furry fandom but they've made it miserable for everyone else). The gist of my comments are really just meant to say that we shouldn't be judging other people for doing what we ourselves do. Sure, some furries take things to extremes or into realms we are not comfortable thinking about, but are we any better? I posit that we are not and we shouldn't thumb our noses at people who are most likely our fellow fans.
To get a bit back to the original point of this whole topic, the people who made the perverted Spyro art aren't furries, they're Spyro fans. And the people who are looking for it are even bigger Spyro fans. Their reasons may be unclear to you (or you just might not want to know), but that fan who is looking for the Cynder smut (and there are at least two in this thread alone) is no better or worse than the fan who sticks up for his/her favorite pairing from the franchise with gusto to the point of alienating fellow fans.
(Honestly, I prefer the quiet fan who's looking for dirty art to the loud fan who feels it's his duty to be rude to every other fan who doesn't agree exactly with him, but that's maybe a topic for a different discussion.)

Re: BIG MEETING, RIGHT NOW!!! *read this post*
There are some good points here from everyone. Being a furry myself, i find that when browsing artwork generally, sometimes there is the odd *bleep* picture of spyroXcynder, whatever. But some people need to look past all the x rated content, because its the media and others who stereotype furries as being pervy, thats why there is so much hate on websites such as 4chan. But at the same time, anime has it's adult themes as well, such as hentai etc. But we all know that the anime culture is diverse and something to be admired. So even though x rated content does, and always will exist, doesn't mean that all the memebers of the furry fandom are pervs. It's just a way in which people can express themselves anyway they want using the internet.

First time I found about this was last year when I unexpectedly saw
pictures of Spyro, Cynbder, and others doing adult actions on that Herpy

But these people are right. The Internet is loaded with junk like that.
All I can tell you is you should just steer away from that stuff. People say

Re: BIG MEETING, RIGHT NOW!!! *read this post*
Really now, cooldude22345? Do you know this Razz personally and can speak for this supposed perversion? All you've seen is their art, which often doesn't say much about an artist, especially if such may have been commissioned to do the work. Their art might be popular so you see it everywhere, but that doesn't make them a so-called "hyper-perv". Maybe if you met this person and talked to them about your likes and dislikes they would think of you as a disgusting pervert, instead. One should not judge people one has never met and knows nothing about.
