Is It all That with Insomniac?
Does anyone have really any idea why Insomniac decided to give the Spyro Franchise Up?
I Heard that their only reason was so that they could work on the upcoming JAX and Ratchet & Clank Games. But was this really it? It seems like a petty excuse not to continue a game series that seems to have millions of followers (I have seen from the amount of members on this forum)
It just sounds weird to me... They couldn't have been in any type of financial trouble because then they managed to pump out 2 other series (The Aforementioned JAX and Ratchet & Clank). Did they simply just run out of ideas?
Once again... It seems Quite Strange... Has anyone else heard theories over the years of why they dropped the Spyro Series and moved on with other games??
EDIT: I just found another theory, write after I created this topic. I found the Following on Wikipedia
"In an interview, Ted Price stated that they gave up the series after releasing Spyro: Year of the Dragon because his actions were limited, due to not being able to hold anything in his hands."
What does anyone think of that?

yeah, their hands were tied. I do not think they would've given up on him like that. Video games are not predictable enough to sense a selling period of a franchise before it actually fails. *cough* ETD...
Wake me up... when September ends is here...

Your sir have made an error.
Jak was made by naugty dog, they made Crash NOT spyro.
The reson Is they could not see how to make spryo more "Grown up" and still be friendly ((Like RaC)) So its simple:
Follow the flow and make a new IP, It makes sence new consoul new Games.
Welcome to Nya Nya Nya please just call me Tatsumina no Mikoto Cocona! NYAMO!!
