Re: Duh, duh dunnn the release date!
Nice content. Let's cue the usual:
1. Deny that it is real.
2. Support it on a good day
3. question what the game will have in it
4. Complain that it is only on DS and Wii as of now...
5. Argue that LoS was a failure.
6. Tell all the non-fans that Spyro and Cynder are both alive after DotD
7. Continue wishing against LoS Universe in the game.
8. Reminisce on the old games which were the best
9. And finally, while looping these details over and over again, become impatient and find something else to do with our lives until another clue leaks.
I'll start first:
Not to undercut you, yearofthe, but Aura, do you support this finding?

Re: Duh, duh dunnn the release date!
riverhippo, the list you just gave always happens among all fans of all possible game series in the world. Those arguments can get really extreme, even if it is just FF7 vs FF13.
But why doesn't Activision announce this game already? They give Crash Bandicoot special treatment in 2009 and 2010 (CNK on the iPhone) but not Spyro, our beloved dragon?
Spyro's Kingdom better be worth the wait, speculation and rumours.

Re: Duh, duh dunnn the release date!
I know nobody's asking me, but I have to point out that the price list isn't an official source. The only thing that I believe made it reliable in the past was the fact that it agreed with many other sources. Now at this point, even the names aren't agreeing; whatever happened to that Starter Pack/Adventure Pack?
I'm kind of contradicting myself by having pointed out the updated list in the first place, but that was only to imply that we could be receiving updates (in other words, it's a fair bet that the game is still in the works). I think it's too early to jump to conclusions. After all, release dates are quite often changed even after they're officially announced.
I'm just advising you all to be cautious... remember, Activision hasn't said one word about Spyro yet.

Activision deleted evidence of the Starter and Adventure Packs off the site since around December.

And I know this release date is unconfirmed, probably something made up by Activision unless it is officially revealed by Activision.

Spyro is owned by Activision, not Blizzard. So Activision would assign possibly one of their game developers to do the next Spyro game.

Re: Duh, duh dunnn the release date!
I wouldn't be surprised if Spyro's Kingdom would be released in 2012. Next year is the Year of the Dragon after all.
Or more precisely, the water dragon.

LOL I've been hearing a lot about dragons swimming in water this week. But yeah let's hope it's released this year.

Let's see if the date gets pushed that far...

Re: Duh, duh dunnn the release date!
Activision owns Blizzard and there is no way Blizzard will have anything to do with this game.
Not only does Blizzard only work on a specific few franchises, but they were all Blizzard games to begin with.
