[LoS Music Remix] Dragon Dance
I finally got hold of Dawn of the Dragon a couple weeks ago, and it was well worth the wait. As I was exploring the Valley of Avalar, the theme from the credits of A New Beginning started playing in the background, and it occurred to me that it would make a good dance song. With that thought, I headed to YouTube to find out how to achieve the pumping-and-breathing effect, then fired up FLStudio... a few days later, Dragon Dance was completed.
For some reason, my remix here evokes a scene in my head: Spyro and Cynder are settling down for the night under a clear, starry sky when Cynder realizes they may very well be killed at any time, so she urges Spyro to take advantage of the peace they have and enjoy the moment.

Guys, please go to the spam forum if you're going to post stuff like that. It's really disrespectful to the OP.

Re: [LoS Music Remix] Dragon Dance
IMO, I didn't really dig it all that much, probably because of the length/repetitiveness and the fact that I've heard the same or similar sound samples used by other FL users. However, I don't see people here making much music at all, so I can at least appreciate that.

Admittedly, a lot of the synths were defaults, but I blame the repetitiveness on the original song. It doesn't really give much to work with. Thanks for actually reviewing it. ^^ Even if it's kinda negative, at least it's not random pics and videos *cough*

Re: [LoS Music Remix] Dragon Dance
I guess the real work is making interesting sounds other than the ones offered in the sound bank. FL is probably the most popular music creation program out there, so a lot of people will recognize those percussion sounds or those pads and synths.
The pulse effect is interesting, and I hear that in a lot of house music. Is it just me, or does it seem choppier than it could be?

What do you mean by "choppy", exactly?
