Moving Parts

I'd like to say that I believe that the figurines will have moving parts.  It's definately a possibility that the figure can detach from the base of the figurine.  Since none of this is finalized and what we have seen could change, the toys will probably be a little different.  They just had to make them look good for the toy fair.  By the way, does anyone know what company is manufacturing the toys?  I know Toy'R'Us is selling them, but they don't manufacture toys do they?

Re: Moving Parts

Spyro looks like the Only Toy worth Preserving, Unless Both Skylanded versions of Original and TLOS Cast are made forget it.

Besides If that becomes a true case then off to buy Hunter

Re: Moving Parts

I've seen a pretty good concept of a Skylanders version of Shiela.  There should totally be a classic pack with the playable Spyro 3 characters (and maybe Blink from AHT)

The movable parts idea sounds great.

Re: Moving Parts

Cyril or Volt doing commentary in Tutorials or that would be hilarious

Re: Moving Parts

It would be kinda cool if you could collect different versions of the same character, like a dark Spyro.  But it wouldn't be ideal since this game is marketing to little kids.  We'll have to wait and see if this gets a heavy cult following.  If it does, expect special edition characters and more presentable "Do not open me" packaging.

Re: Moving Parts

If the figurines work on the portal through the box, I might keep it that way.  Cubes are much easier to stack than statuettes.
