A cheetah is on a ledge over looking an orange crystal.
He climbs down and wipes the dust off it.
He smiles before he taps his broach.
“Hunter to Ignitus.” he says.
“Ignitus here. It’s been a long time friend. Have you found them.” asks Ignitus.
“Yes. Encased in a crystal.” replies Hunter.
“Crystal?” asks a hyper voice in the background.
“That’s what said Volteer. Attach the broach to the crystal and prepare for transport.” says Ignitus.
“Done” says Hunter.
“It’ll feel a little weird. Energize Volteer.” says Ignitus before Hunter and the Crystal disappear in beam of blue energy.
They all reappear in a chamber with displays on the wall. Volteer is standing behind a console.
“Welcome to Wolfrag, Hunter.” says Ignitus before shaking his paw.
“That did feel weird.” says Hunter.

A yellow young dragon is scanning the crystal with a tricorder.
“They are alive but these readings are very strange. They don’t make sense.” says the young dragon.
“Let me have a look, Beverly” says Volteer before Beverly gives him the Tricorder.

A bang comes from behind a panel and a klaxon sounds.
“WARNING! TRANSPORTER MALFUNCTION.
UNCONTROLLED TRANSPORT IN PROGRESS!” says the computer.
“VOLTEER! Stop the transport!” says Ignitus.
Volteer is furiously typing on the console.
“I can’t! The controls were damaged in the explosion!” says Volteer before Hunter and the crystal disappear in a beam of blue energy.
They appear in a forest clearing.
Hunter taps his broach.
“Hunter to Ignitus” says Hunter.
“Ignitus here. I glad that you are alright. How’s the crystal?” asks Ignitus.
It reappeared 10 feet above the ground. It hit the ground and its breaking up.” says Hunter.
“Pick a piece up when it breaks for my research.” says Volteer before a smashing sound is heard.
Hunter picks up a piece of the crystal and puts it in a belt pouch. He lights a fire.
2 hours later, Sparx wakes up.
“Who are you?” asks Sparx.
“Sush. You’re making too much noise.” replies Hunter.
“humph.” says Sparx.

The next morning, Cynder wakes up.
“Where are we?” asks Cynder before she realises that she is in a forest and there is crystal everywhere.
“Spyro, wake up.” says Cynder before she nudges him.”
“15 more minutes’ mum.” says Spyro.
Cynder slaps him. He jumps up.
“Why the hell did you do that f….” asks Spyro before he sees the crystal pieces on the floor.
“Spyro, you’re awake!” says Sparx.
“Who is that in the cape over there?” asks Cynder pointing to a creature in a cape with a hood over his head.
“I don’t know. All he said was ‘you are making too much noise’” says Sparx.
“I like him already.” says Cynder as the figure lowers his hood.
“My name is Hunter.” says Hunter.
“Hunter? You have been tracking me haven’t you?” asks Spyro.
“Yes, far too long friend. When you didn’t return to the temple, the elder dragon, Ignitus sent me to find you.” replies Hunter.
“Oh.” says Spyro.
“You’ve been in that crystal for 2 years, 297 days. You will feel weak and hungry. If you feel nauseous, please don’t throw up over Me.” says Hunter as a gurgle comes from Cynder and she runs off holding her mouth.
She throws up in a bush. It suddenly turns brown and dies.
“That’s weird.” says Cynder as runs to catch up with the group.
They walk down a path.
“3 years! It’s been that long?” asks Spyro.
“Yep.” replies Hunter.
“That’s impossible.” says Spyro.
“But it’s true. I bet this news is quite a shock.” says Hunter.
“Ya think?” asks Sparx.
Spyro suddenly stops near a green gem cluster.
“Hunter, give us a moment to gather our strength.” says Spyro.
“This could get weird.” says Sparx.
“It’s truly amazing how your kind draws strength from these gems. Dragons are truly remarkable.” says Hunter.
“Yeah, you’ll say that now, until one tries to kill you. When I mean ‘one’, in mean her.” says Sparx before he points to Cynder. She just gives him a mean look.
“I’m aware of Cynder’s past. Ignitus trusts her and that’s good enough for me.” says Hunter.
Sparx huffs before saying “Fine. Don’t say I didn’t warn you.”

Spyro and Cynder put their paws on the gems.
The gems glow and the chronicler appears.
“Spyro, as a rare purple dragon, you can wield powers that others can not. Now it’s time to reawaken these powers within you. Fire, Ice, electricity and Earth.” says the Chronicler.
“Shield systems charging. Weapon charging docks online.” says Spyro’s belt.

Cynder, while most dragons can only wield one element, your exposure to the dark forces has gifted you with abilities that are uncommon. Poison, fear, wind.” says the chronicler before Spyro farts.
“Sorry.” says Spyro. “And shadow” finishes the chronicler. He disappears.

“We’ll follow the river to a path to Wolfrag, the dragon city.” says Hunter as the walk down a path by a river.

“So hunter, what’s been happening in the last 3 years?” asks Cynder before they come to a ledge.

Spyro sees a volcano spilling lava.
“The Dark Master, he’s returned has he.” says Spyro.
“I’m afraid so, shortly after your disappearance. He struck quickly, fuelled by hatred and malice. He reclaimed the throne at the temple after he rebuilt it. Now he suspends it over the land with some dark magic he suspends it above the land as a symbol of his dominance. We’ve been at war ever since. And every day his forces and get stronger and ours lose hope.” says Hunter.

“I failed… They were all counting on me and I FAILED! How could I let this happen?” asks Spyro.
“Something’s are beyond your control, you shouldn’t beat yourself up about them.” says Cynder.
“You’re lucky that I found you are released you from that crystal.” says Hunter.
“He needs to be stopped. We’ll have to stop him.” says Spyro with a determined look on his face.
“Whoa, Whoa, Whoa, slow down tough guy. We don’t need to be picking fights. We just woke up. Things to do.” says Sparx.
“What the ….” asks Cynder before she is knocked out by a green orb.
“Is she sleepy?” asks Sparx before Spyro is knocked out by another orb. 2 orbs knock Sparx and Hunter out.
They get dragged by robed figures.

Meanwhile at Malefor’s lair, he is stroking his pet golem’s head. “Don’t worry my pet, you’ll destroy something soon.” Says Malefor before he takes off and lands on a platform and faces to address his minions.

“At sunrise, we attack with that dragon city with full attack machinery. Everyone get some rest, we have a war to win.” says Malefor before they cheer and he flies off to his private chambers.

Meanwhile at a Wolfrag lab, machines are powering down.
A lab assistant saying “AVATAR drivers coming out.”
A rectangle container comes out a machine with glowing lights round the hole where the container comes out.
“Man that Prowler is awkward.” says a yellow dragon as she gets out of her container and rubs her eyes.
“Where’s my coffee?” asks another driver before a lab assistant gives a bucket of coffee.
“Get me Terridor, I have something important to tell him,” yells a green dragon with a spade tail.
Meanwhile on the bridge, Terridor is drinking a coffee when he summoned to the Lab.
“Can we come with you?” asks Cynder and Spyro.
“Sure.” He replies as he gets into a turbolift.
“Avatar psylink lab 1” says Terridor.
“Avatar ?” asks Cynder.

“I can’t explain all the details of the Avatar program. The original purpose of the AVATAR program was to study tribe we had no knowledge about. We send in an avatar to study their customs and if we send a dragon representive to make an alliance with them, we can great them in the correct way and not appear threatening.” explains Terridor as the lift arrives and they get out.

“Who asked to see me?” asks Terridor. “I do.” Replies a green dragon with a spade tail. “what’s up Simon?” asks Terridor.
“Malefor is attacking tomorrow with full army and war machines and he might be sending his pet golem called Roasty.” says Simon.
“how did he get this information?” asks Spyro.
“His avatar is in the dark army. How we got away with it. Ancestors knows.” replies Terridor.
“Nice” says Spyro.
“We get Malefor’s plans from his mouth then. So far he hasn’t got a clue how you are ready for him and his attacks.” says Cynder.
“So far” says Terridor.

“Man, that Prowler is awkward. I can’t get him o change his mind about dragons. He still compares us to Malefor.” Says someone from the room next to the link room.

Spyro goes the room. He finds its sleeping quarters for the avatar drivers. As he walks in they turn to face him.
The yellow dragon says “hello, Spyro.” She smiles.
“How do you know my name?” asks Spyro.
“My avatar and you shared a night watch. You gave my avatar an USP.” replies the yellow dragon.
“Meadow?” asks Spyro. “That’s my avatar’s name. Mine is Meadora.” Replies Meadora.
“You are an excellent cook.” Says Spyro.
“I’ve trained for the avatar program and cooking was part of the training program.” Replies Meadora.
“no wonder is so good.” Says Spyro.
“mine is the Alowa” says a driver between sips of his coffee.
“Ours are in the moles” says a two blue dragons. “twins?” asks Spyro. “Yes.” They reply in unison.

A beep comes from Spyro’s necklace he taps it.
“Spyro, please come to my lab.” Says Volteer.
“on my way.” Says Spyro before he leaves the avatar dorm and walks to the turbolift lobby and calls one.
“wait up!” calls Cynder and gets into Spyro’s turbolift.
“computer, locate Volteer” asks Spyro.
“Elder Volteer Dragon is in Volteer lab 1.
Volteer junior. is in Volteer lab 7.” Replies the computer.

“Volteer lab 1” says Cynder. “Voice not recognised. Access denied. Turbolift lockdown active.” Says the computer.
“Computer release lockout. Command authorisation, Spyro-3-7-4-2-portal-2” says Spyro.
“Command codes accepted. Lockout released.” Says the computer.
“Volteer lab 1” says Spyro before the lift starts to move.
“How come the computer won’t accept my command?” asks Cynder.
“you didn’t register your voice pattern in the temple computer while you were there.” Replies Spyro.
“oh.” Says Cynder.
It arrives at Volteer’s lab and they get out.

“Ah, Spyro, Cynder. It’s great to see you again. It’s been a dragon’s age. How are you both?” asks Volteer.
“I’m fine” replies Cynder and Spyro before they look round the lab. Behind a window is a closed blast door, there is a crystal being scanned by lasers, a massive gun with “Explosive” on a label on the barrel and a console with a hologram warp core.
“I wonder what that gun does?” asks Cynder to herself.
“Volteer, can you register Cynder in the city computer system?” asks Spyro.
“Sure.” Replies Volteer before he taps on his console.
Cynder walks over to Volteer’s console.
He taps on his console.
“Computer register new com-neck badge.” Says Volteer before he gives Cynder a charm to put on.
“how can I put it on? I got not where to put it.” Ask Cynder.
“Put it on your neck brace. It’s magnetic.” Replies Volteer.
“Magnetic?” asks Cynder.
“It’s made of a metal that will stick to another metal that it’s attracted to.” explains Volteer.

“oh.” Says Cynder as she puts the charm onto her neck brace. “Tap the charm.”
She taps the charm
“Name of user.” Asks the computer.
“Cynder Dragon” replies Cynder.
“Command code?” asks the computer.
“Cynder 7-5-6-2-9-5 Beta” replies Cynder.
“repeat code to confirm” says the computer.
Cynder repeats the code.
“Tap charm to complete registration” says the computer. Cynder taps it.
“Registration complete.” Says the computer before a klaxon sounds and a bolt of energy goes through the Crystal Volteer is studying and hits Cynder and a
console.

“CYNDER!” yells Spyro before Volteer gets a medical tricorder and scans Cynder.
“is She?” asks Spyro.
“Dead? No. just knocked out. Her neural scans are a bit weird though.” replies Volteer before the stuck console blows up.
Spyro is looking at the flickering holo image. “What does that console do?” asks Spyro before pointing to the console with a flicking holo image.
Volteer looks. “It’s for an experimental mech I’ve been developing. That console was transferring the A.I for the mech to the mech when that energy surge knocked the console and blew it up.” replies Volteer.
“Is Cynder alright?” asks Spyro.
“She’s just been knocked out. The weird thing about it is her neural scan. I see these readings every day.” Replies Volteer.
“Where?” asks Spyro.
“I see these readings at the Avatar link room when the drivers are….” he replies before he puts Cynder on a hoverboard and gets into a turbolift followed by Spyro.
“What’s the hurry?” asks Spyro as the lift moves at high speed.
“Cynder is in some kind of comma. I think the answer will be in the avatar link room.” Replies Volteer as the lift arrives and the get out.
Volteer puts her in a link machine and closes the container.
“Initiate link.” Says Volteer.
“Launching” says a lab assistant as the two brains on her console’s holo screen start to light up.
Volteer leaves the lab.
“Where’s Volteer going?” asks Spyro.
“We have the first connection.” Says the lab assistant.
Cynder groans and wakes up.
“Where am I?” asks Cynder as a voice outside says “link at 80% and stable.”
“Link?” asks Cynder before her vision is filled by a multicoloured tube.

She opens her eyes. Her vision is fuzzy.
“Cynder, can you hear me?” asks a fuzzy yellow face.
Her vision clears and she sees Volteer.
“Hi Volteer.” Says Cynder.
Volteer snaps his claws at each ear.
Cynder ears twitch.
“Audio response normal. How do you feel?” asks Volteer.
“I feel weird.” replies Cynder.
“Welcome to your new body Cynder. Sit up nice and easy.” says Volteer.
“A hiss of hydraulics is heard as she gets up.
She looks at her paws and body and find they are metal.
“There are a few more tests to run.” says Volteer.
“This is freaky” says Cynder as she tries to walk.
“Don’t get ahead of yourself. You’re now used to your avatar body. This is dangerous.” says Volteer in concern as she wobbles slightly.
“I’ve got this. I’VE GOT THIS!” says Cynder.
“I believe that she has.” says a yellow dragon next to Volteer on the walkway. Volteer nods in agreement.
“She’s a fast learner.” says the yellow dragon.
“Teach her about her avatar’s weapon systems and flight systems, Jake. If she’s fast learner as you think she is. It won’t take you long.” Says Volteer before Jake takes off and hovers in front of Cynder.

“My name is Jake. I’m your trainer.” says Jake.
“Cool.” says Cynder.
“If you are ready that is?” asks Jake.
“Let’s go.” Replies Cynder.

3 hours later, Cynder comes out her container comes out of the link machine. She rubs her eyes and opens her container. She sees Ignitus.
“Welcome back.” Says Ignitus as Cynder gets out her container.
She smiles.
“Get some rest, your avatar will lead us to victory” says Ignitus.
“No pressure” says Sparx.
Cynder goes into the drivers dorms. The other drivers give her an untrusting look.

“Don’t worry Cynder, they will turn around tomorrow after you lead our army to victory.” says a yellow dragon.
“How did you know my name?” asks Cynder.
“I made you waffles at the cheetah village.” replies the yellow dragon.
“Meadow?” asks Cynder.
“That’s my avatar’s name. Mine is Meadora.” replies Meadora.
“Meadora, why don’t the others trust me?” asks Cynder.
“We went through training together and we are like family.” Replies Meadora.
“Oh.” says Cynder.
“Take my bunk.” says Simon.
“Where you going to sleep?” asks Cynder.
“I’m used to roughing it.“ says Simon.
“Ok.” says Cynder before she gets into the bunk.
“I’ll wake you at 4am to get ready,” says Simon.
“Good night everyone” says Cynder before she falls asleep.

10 minutes later, Simon and the blue twins are in a meeting with the guardians and air squadron leaders.
“Do we have to worry about Malefor’s pet golem?” asks Spyro.
“No. When the dark queen’s forces damaged the foundations, the moles reinforced it with 27 foot thick Dragononium. You know how strong and how resistant to heat it is.” replies the dragon twins.
“Nice” says Terridor.
“Spyro, I would like you at the control of the city weapon systems.” says Ignitus.
“Ok.” says Spyro.

“Through mysterious ways I can’t figure out, comprehend,” says Volteer.
“OUT WITH IT TIME IS SHORT!!!” yells Terridor.
“Well through mysterious circumstances I can’t explain, Cynder has an avatar link with an experimental mech that I developed that should run with an A.I but something weird happened during the A.I transfer.
I was talking to Spyro when an energy surge shot through a sample of Spyro’s crystal and hit Cynder followed by a console.
The mysterious surge scrambled the mech’s neural network and made it the same as Cynder’s brain patterns. Cynder’s own patterns were badly disrupted and scrambled until I put her into a link machine and they corrected themselves.” explains Volteer.
“Weird.” says Spyro.
“But true. The worrying thing is that Ignitus wants’ her to lead our army to victory.” says Volteer.
“I know she will, Volteer.” says Ignitus.
“Also I don’t know how long the link will be stable for. Putting her avatar in the lead will be disastrous, risky, oh ahh” says Volteer.
“It would be cool to watch Cynder win a fist fight with a golem. I would pay good gems to watch that” says Simon.
“I bet you would.” says Cyril.
“So would us all.” says Terridor before they all laugh.
“Dismissed” says Ignitus before the air Squadrons leaders leave.

“Simon, your avatar has to play its part in the battle.” says Ignitus.
“Of course” says Simon.
“You know what you must do.” says Ignitus.
“I’ll see our forces and do a runner.” says Simon before he leaves.
“Let’s get some sleep. You never know what tomorrow will bring.” says Ignitus before they all leave the briefing room.

An hour later, Cynder suddenly wakes up and rolls over and falls out of the bunk.
She lands on something soft.
“oomph” says the thing she landed on.
“Oh, sorry Simon.” whispers Cynder.
“Can’t sleep?” asks Simon.
Cynder nods.
“Don’t worry. I’ve heard someone say at the air squadron briefing I attended, I heard someone say that they’ll pay gems you to see you beat the golem in a fist fight and lead us to victory.” says Simon.
Cynder smiles and she climbs back onto the bunk.
“Imagine you won the fist fight and you ripped the golem’s head off.” whispers Simon.
She turns to face the ceiling. “I would probably beat him.” says Cynder before she falls asleep.

Simon wakes Cynder up.
"It's time" says Simon as Cynder gets up.
They walk into the link room.
There is a banner above a link machine with "Cynder, good luck" on it.
"May the ancestors protect you and may the protect us all." Says Simon before Cynder gets into a link machine and closes the lid.
"Initiate link." says Simon.
"Launching." says the lab assistant.

Meanwhile at the flight hanger, flight squadrons are doing their wing warm up exercises.
A flight commander steps up onto a platform and he claps for attention. They all look at him.

"Gentleman, that common will be will like a roach hotel. Bad guys check in," says the commander before a mass cock of shotguns is heard.

"THEY DON'T CHECK OUT SIR!
" the soldiers yell before a mech in Cynder's likeness.
Meanwhile on the bridge, Spyro is watching on a monitor as the mech lift rises.
"Your engineers have been busy Volteer. I'm very impressed." says Spyro.
"Thanks" says Volteer.
"It's amazing what a bit of paint and lots of welding and determination and hard work can do." says Volteer.
Meanwhile in the hanger, the squadrons are getting into their fight positions.
"LET'S GO KICK LAVA *bleep*!" says Cynder before they all take off. They land behind a ridge. They see the Dark army marching towards them in the sunset.
"The suspect bugger all." Says a warrior as the sun rises. The Dark army is completely oblivious of the Dragon army.

"Mortar unit. Prepare your antimatter mortars and fire on my command." says Cynder.
"yes ma'am" says a commander as they prepare the mortars quietly and wait for the Dark master army to get in range.

"FIRE" says Cynder quietly as they fire and it kills loads of Dark Army members. They scatter.
"That's how you scatter the roaches." says a commander.
Cynder yells "AYAYAYAYAAHHH!" before they attack.

A squadron of dragons are killing grublins with machine guns.
One has a baseball bat in his paws.
A grublin attacks the dragon. He whacks the grublin.
It spins and lands in a lava pit.
"its outta here!" says the dragon.
"Toasty!" his squadron members say before he swaps the bat for a machine gun.

"Give them hell." says Cynder.
"Yes ma'am" says a squadron commander.
"Ladies, let's pick up 650kg antimatter bombs. Let's bust them right open." says the commander before they take off with a 650kg bombs between the squadron members.

A group of grublins attack the bombers.
"KINDLE!" yells a dragon before he takes on the grublins single pawed.
"How do you like that *bleep*?" asks the dragon before he punches the grublins away.
They eventually overcome the dragon and he hits the ground.
"LASIAR!!!" says Kindle!
"Finish you mission for our children and our children's children. Avenge our murdered unborn kids. I accept my fate with honour." says Laisiar before a snap and hiss of static comes from Kindle's radio.
Kindle yells in fury and anger.

"YOU BASTARDS ARE GOING TO PAY EVERY *bleep*ing ONE OF YOU!!!!!
" yells Kindle before they all drop their bombs into the dark army's ranks.
Kindle pulls out her machine gun and shoots every grublin she sees.
"I haven't seen the commander so *bleep*ed off, Tina" says a unit member.
"She's beyond *bleep*ed off, she's *bleep*ing fuming, Lucy." says Tina.
"I guess our orders are to shoot the grublins." says Lucy.
"We better be quick or best ones be taken. There is a competition in our barracks. Who ever kill the biggest grublin wins their weight in chocolate." says Tina before the get out their guns and joins Kindle shooting grublins.

"FALL BACK!!!" yells a lava commander before a purple rock flattens him.
Meanwhile in the psylink lab, Simon is getting out of Psylink lab and pats himself to check he is alive. He sighs in relief.

"Malefor killed your avatar. How did he found your out which of the his army was your avatar is a complete mystery." says Terridor.
"or he isn't stupid as he looks." says Simon.

Meanwhile in the Black Messa district, Volteer is preparing to join the battle with a group of dragons.
"Make sure your HEVs are fully charged." says Volteer.
"Let me at 'em" says a blue dragon with blue scales and wearing an orange HEV suit.
He is banging a red crowbar against a paw.
"Don't worry Gordon, we'll join the battle soon." says Volteer.

"Gina, you've got the Glucon gun." says Volteer before she picks up the Glucon gun.
"SWEET!" says Gina.
"Collette you get the combine rifle" says Volteer.
"This is the best gun of the lot." says Collette.
"Alyx, you get the steerable missile launcher" says Volteer before Alyx picks up the rocket launcher.
"And you?" asks Alyx as she picks up the missile launcher.
"I get the BFG 9000." Replies Volteer.
"Why does he get the BFG 9000?" asks Alyx.
"I get the BFG 9000 because it's my invention and I'm a dragon elder." replies Volteer as they get onto a transporter pad.
"Two very good reasons" replies Gordon.
"Energise Kliner." says Volteer.
"May the ancestors protect you. Activating de-molecularisation sequence" says Kliner before they disappear in a blue beam.

They materialise on a ledge above the battle.
"Why is Volteer's gun called BFG 900" asks Gordon.
"BFG stands for Big *bleep*ing Gun 9000" replies Volteer before he aims the gun at a group of dark army members.
"Watch this." before he fires the gun.
The barrel spins and a sphere of energy builds up. It leaves the barrel.
It was green outside with a yellow centre.
It hits the group and they disappear in a massive explosion and shockwave.
"I WANT A GO!!!! THAT GUN IS AWESOME WITH A CAPTITAL A!!!!" says Alyx.
"Where are they?" asks Gina.
"They have been vaporised and phased out of our dimension." replies Volteer.
"Nice. Where's Gordon gone?" asks Gina.
"He's down there caving a few dark army members with his crowbar." replies Volteer before they open fire with their weapons.
Gordon is enjoying caving the rock soldier's skulls with his crowbar.
"This beats teaching Theorical physics any day." says Gordon after decapitating a particularly ugly one with a swipe of his crowbar.

Meanwhile at the Wolfrag bridge command centre, Spyro is tapping on his console.
"Spyro, are the special missiles loaded ?" asks Terridor
"Yes Terridor. They are ready to launch." replies Spyro.
"Tell the air commanders to clear the air. Aura." says Terridor.
"Done." says Aura.
"Launch the missiles." Says Terridor before a klaxon sounds and they are launched.

They whole of the dragon army are on a ledge shooting at the dark army.
They watch the missiles explode and things descend on parachutes.
"is it me or is it raining turrets?" asks Chell a member of Kindle's squadron.
"Coming through," says one of the things on parachutes.
"IT IS RAINING TURRETS!!!" says Chell as one them lands and says "Activated" before is shoots any lava soldier that crosses its beam. The others land and shoot at the soldiers.
They run away. The turrets kill the stragglers.
"Sentry mode activated." says the turrets in unison.
The Dragon army takes off and returns to the city after putting transporter tags on the wounded and the dead dragon soldiers.
Cynder is disappointed that she couldn't get to fight Malefor's pet golem. "Come near Wolfrag golem and you're mine." says Cynder to herself as she flies.
Meanwhile at the dragon temple, Malefor is very *bleep*ed off that he lost the battle. Roasty, Malefor's pet golem is growling in impatience.
A lava soldier nervously walks into the throne room.
"err, master," starts the soldier nervously as he sees Malefor's angry face. "OUT WITH IT!" says Malefor in an angry voice.
"We were taken by surprise and…" says the soldier before he is destroyed by a purple ball.

The golem laughs.
"Tomorrow, you'll have your chance to destroy something. I know you won't fail me Roasty." says Malefor.

Roasty roars in a happy tone and falls asleep. He is dreaming that he is destroying Wolfrag's walls and buildings.

Ignitus is addressing the troops.
"Well done every one of you. We have dealt a bitter blow to Malefor's plans for now." Says Ignitus before the soldiers cheer.

"Keeps going and going. That's the power of...." says a pink bunny before it is shot by a dragon sniper.
"That's for interrupting Ignitus." says the sniper.

"This victory can with a price. A few of us didn't return. We must remember those fallen brave warriors. We mustn't morn but celebrate their contribution to our success and the battles they fought for all our families, children and our allies." says Ignitus.
The soldiers nod in agreement in a solemn manner.

"I know you lost brothers, sisters and friends to this war. I've lost children too and I know how it feels. I hurt me very deeply and made me more determined to end this war before someone loses someone the love and care about. We will observe a 2 minute silence to honour the soldiers that have fallen." Says Ignitus before a city wide announcement says "We will observe a 2 minute silence to honour the fallen soldiers."

Everyone in the city stops what they are doing and fall silent.
A lone bugler plays a sad tune as a solemn group of soldiers load their rifles and point them into the air.
When the 2 minutes are up they fire a salute into the air as the coffins of the dead soldiers pass them carried by their comrades.
Various dragons are crying in the crowd.
The coffins are loaded into a photon torpedo launcher magazine and loaded into the launcher.
"We now commit those brave souls into space. May the ancestors welcome them." says Ignitus before every solider salutes and the launcher is fired rapidly into their air.

Mary is rubbing Kindle's back and comforting her.
"I loved Lasiar like a brother. I miss him already. I swear to kill every grublin that sets foot or near Wolfrag." says Kindle before she sniffles.
"We'll help you" says her unit.
"Thank you for your support." Says Kindle with a sniffle.

The monitor about ignites and the city suddenly fizzles and Malefor's face appears on them.

Soldiers are shouting rude comments and flying the "Claw" at him. Malefor just laughs.
"YOU DISRESPECTFUL *bleep*!!!!" yells a soldier.

"Sticks and stones may break my bone but name wouldn't hurt me. I'm giving you tonight to heal your wounded and rest. Tomorrow I have a surprise for you." Says Malefor before laughing and the screen turns back to normal.

"Surprise?" asks Ignitus.
"Nothing good no doubt." says Spyro as he walks onto Ignitus's platform.
"We better get some rest and prepare for his surprise. DISMISSED!" says Ignitus before the soldiers fly to their barracks.
Spyro and Ignitus calls a lift and gets into it. "Wolfrag command bridge." Says Ignitus before the lift moves.

Meanwhile in the AVATAR dorms, a party is going on.
Simon is holding up a goblet. "To Cynder, a great leader and a great avatar driver." Says Simon before they toast Cynder.

A yellow dragon claps her paws for attention.
Everyone looks at her.

"We apologise for the bad impression yesterday, we weren't sure about your...." says the yellow dragon before she is nudged by one of the twins.
"What" asks Cynder.
"Skill as an avatar driver. We have seen what you can do and we want to welcome you to the AVATAR program." Says the yellow dragon.
"Thanks." Says Cynder before they introduce themselves.

"My name is Grace and I'm the leader of the AVATAR program." Says Grace.
"Our names are Fred and George. We are the practical jokers of the group." Says Fred and George in unison before a raspberry comes from under a dragon on a chair. He pulls out a whoopee cushion from under the seat cushion. "Very funny Fred" he says before laughing.

"My name is Meadora. I'm the group chef." Says Meadora. "Is you avatar Meadow?" asks Cynder.
"Yes." Replies Meadora.
"I've tried your cooking and expect the best." Says Cynder. Meadora laughs.
"We always get the best meals in Wolfrag. The replicators can't match Meadora's cooking." Says Simon before she blushes and hides under a wing.

"My name is Ron" says the dragon that fell for Fred's prank. He has blue scales and silver wings.
"Where is your avatar Ron?" asks Cynder.
"Mine is in the Alowa. The leader Kane can be a bit big headed but we get on pretty well. My cooking can't match Meadora's but I'm getting better though." Says Ron before Meadora glows a deeper scarlet and disappears further under her wing.

Come on Meadora, come out and accept your complements. She slowly comes out from under her wing. She's still blushing.
"Thanks guys for embarrassing me." Says Meadora.

"My name is Harry" says a black dragon with a lightning scar on his head.
"How did you get the scar?" asks Cynder.
"I was struck by a high voltage cable on the face." Replies Harry. "Why don't you get it removed?" asks Cynder. "I keep it because it reminds me what we are fighting for and why we fight." replies Harry.
"In what way?" asks Cynder.
"The cable that struck me was carrying a high voltage current wasn't designed for and blew. We are the cable and Malefor's rule is the current." replies Harry.
"Oh." says Cynder before a bang is heard from the dorm toilets. "FRED!" yells the stall occupant.
"Fun snaps under the toilet seat. Nice one George." says Fred.
"Those two." Says Grace before shaking her head and drinking a goblet full of punch.
Fred whispers something to George and they laugh.
Steam is pouring out of Grace's Ears.
Everyone laughs. "What?" asks Grace before she looks into a mirror. She sees the steam.

"Very funny Fred" says Grace before she laughs and the steam fades.

Grace looks at the clock on the wall it says "2300".
"Come on everyone, time to turn in. You know what your tribe leaders are like." says Grace before everyone goes to bed.
A raspberry comes from Fred's bed.
"Revenge is sweet." says Ron before he gets into his bed and hears a bang!
Ron looks under the mattress to find the space is covered in fun snaps.
"It is Bro." says Fred before they all laugh.
"Lights out. See you at breakfast." Says Grace before turning the lights off and getting in her bunk.

"I would love to rip the golem's sorry head off." Whispers Cynder. "Be careful what you wish for 'cause you might get it." Whispers Simon. "It'll be cool to watch though" whispers Ron.
Cynder smiles and falls asleep.

5 hours later, they all wake up to the smell of bacon, eggs, toast and porridge. Everyone sits round the table and eats their breakfast.
"Forgetting something?" asks Cynder.
"What?" asks Meadora.
"Waffles, you know how excellent you make them." Replies Cynder before Meadora goes into the kitchen and brings back a pile of 7 foot waffles on a hover tray.
They all get a waffle from the pile and eat it.

"I've got to go. Chief Prowler likes his breakfast before the sunrise." says Meadora before she leaves for the link room. "Mine too." says Ron before he finishes his waffle and leaves for the link room.

Cynder's com-charm beeps. She answers it.
"Yo," she says.
"This is Terridor. Get your avatar online we have a big problem and you can solve it." says Terridor.
"On my way." says Cynder before tapping her badge and run into the link room.
"I'm in 7." says Cynder before getting into a link container.
"Activating Link" says a lab assistant before a tube of light fills Cynder's vision and she opens her eyes

She stands up. Terridor is on her avatar's hanger walkway.
"Long range sensors have detected a massive rock creature and we suspect it's..." says Terridor

"Malefor's Pet golem" says Cynder.
"The turrets on the common won't be able to destroy it, so we want you to..." starts Terridor.
"Kill the Golem and rip its sorry head off." says Cynder.
"We want you to take it out." says Terridor before he laughs. "After that the rest is yours." says Terridor as Cynder's lift rises. When she gets to the hanger and takes off.
She lands 1 mile outside the Turrets range.

Roasty is running towards Wolfrag fast as his legs could carry him. Cynder puts his paws up. "Stop right there." says Cynder. He stops and roars in frustration.

The Golem Skids to a halt.
"You have trespassed on Dragon Property. Prepare to Die." Says Cynder.

The golem roars and prepares to attack Cynder.
Cynder just gives him a look of pure venom before the golem roars and attacks. Cynder sits down and puts her paws up. The golem rams her paws. Sparks come from her bum as Cynder skids. She puts her claws and tail spade deep into the ground and she stops skidding.
"Nice try lava for brains." Says Cynder before she uppercuts the golem and he flies through the air. He lands on his back. He rights himself and roars in frustration.

Meanwhile at the Avatar psylink dorms, Simon is watching Cynder's fight on a monitor.
"She defiantly has a mean punch" says Simon as a roar of pain comes out of the speakers.
Meanwhile on the common, Cynder is standing on her back legs and does a come here sign with her paw. "Bring it." She says before the golem attacks.

Meanwhile in the link room, a lab assistant is watching Cynder's neural levels on a monitor.
"Look at these signals grace. They're very high. I've never seen any driver's neural levels this high."
Grace looks at the readouts.
"Shall I end the link?" asks the lab assistant.
"Didn't you pay attention in training? You should know it's dangerous to cut the link. Even more so even at these levels." Replies Grace.

"GIVE HIM A LEFT THEN A RIGHT!" comes from the dorm.

Grace goes into the dorms to find Simon watching Cynder beating up the golem on a TV and eating popcorn.
"I'm in trouble." says Simon.
Grace just smiles and pulls up a chair.

"What's happened so far?" asks Grace.
"So far she's gave him an uppercut so hard it knocked him over, various punches and threw him by his tail." replies Simon before asking "Popcorn?" and offering his bowl.
"No thanks. I'll have a packet of my crisps from my bum bag." replies grace before she pulls out a packet of crisps from her bum bag.

"I'll tell you something, she's got a mean right hook." Says Simon as he watches Cynder punch the golem in the face. The golem breathes lava over Cynder. "This battle just hotted up." says Simon. "Literary!" says Grace.

"AVATAR driver coming out from link." says a voice from next door before they see Cynder run past to the dorm loos. She grabs a quick coffee and sandwich on the way back to the link room. A link machine powering up is heard.

"Is it over?" asks Grace. "Don't look like it by a long shot." Says Simon as they see Cynder break out of the boulder she was trapped in.

She smiles and fires up her engines and stands up on two paws in the air. (The pose that trinity did in the matrix) she kicks the golem in the belly across the common. The golem gets up and roars.
"TURBO!" she shouts before she punches him at high speed.
Her tail glows.
"I think she's going to finish him off." Says Simon before a sound of rock on metal is heard and the golem falls over for the final time.
"She stabbed the golem right through with her tail." says Grace.
Cynder stands on the golem and puts its head in her paws.
"She isn't going to do what I think she's going to do? Is she?" asks Grace before a breaking of rock is heard.
"Yep. She ripped the golem's head off and playing keep me up with it." replies Simon before a sound of rock on metal is heard.
"nice drop kick." says Simon as the watch the golem head fly towards the Dragon Temple and hits it.
"Accurate too." Says Grace. Before Simon turns off the monitor and pulls out an Isolinear chip.
This is for the others to watch when they come out of link." Says Simon before a klaxon sounds and sparks come out of a panel.

Grace runs into the link room.
"There is a problem with Cynder's link and it's getting worse." Says The lab assistant.
"Tried transferring the link signal to another processor Lucy?" asks Grace.
"no effect" replies Lucy.
"Are the other's effected?" asks Grace.
"No. Only Cynder." replies Lucy.

Cynder opens her eyes in her container and she slams back shut.
She returns to her avatar body and takes off at full speed towards Wolfrag.
Back at the link room, a klaxon is sounding.
"WARNING LINK MACHINE 7 REACHING THERMAL LIMITS. OVERLOAD IN 5 MINUTES." Says the lab computer.
"Get a CO2 fire extinguisher and keep it cool!" says Grace.
Lucy nods and gets a fire extinguisher and sprays the CO2 on the power conduits.
Cynder's AVATAR gets over the Wolfrag walls and crash lands.
"I made it." says Cynder before she faints.

Meanwhile in the link room a big flash of sparks comes from Cynder's link machine.
"GET HER OUTTA THERE IS GONNA BLOW!" shouts Grace before Lucy pulls down the emergency eject and Cynder's container flies out of the machine.

Isolation doors cover the machine before it explodes.
The vibrations shake Lucy's coffee cup off the table and it smashes on the floor.
They carry the container into the dorms and open it.
They see Cynder out cold.
Grace taps her com-necklace.
"Medical Emergency AVATAR dorms." She says.
"team on the way." Says a hyper female voice.
"thanks Beverly." Says Grace.

20 minutes later, Cynder comes round.
"Cynder, Cynder, come back to us" says a fuzzy black dragon before he lightly slaps her cheek.
She sees Grace waving a torch at her eyes.
Cynder coughs.
"Welcome back," says Harry.
"W, W, What happened?" asks Cynder.
"Your link machine overloaded and we got you out of there before the isolation door closed and it blew." replies Grace.
"You're lucky to be alive." says a yellow dragon in a lighting covered HEV suit.

Cynder sits up grabs her head.
"Oh, my head." Says Cynder as the dragon walks in.
"Hi Dad," says Grace.
"Hi Grace, I read the logs and examined what's left of the machine. I'm at a loss how it happened." says Volteer.
"You should get a maintenance crew to look at the other machines before we go back online tomorrow." Says Grace.
"There is already a crew in there at the moment checking them now." says Volteer.

"Volteer is my Avatar alright?" asks Cynder.
"err, dad, tell her what happened." says Grace.
"Your avatar's main core overloaded. We could do nothing but clear the area and watch it explode." replies Volteer.

"You're alive and that matters." Says Grace before Simon puts a reassuring paw round her and takes for a coffee.
"She looks upset about the loss of her avatar dad." Says Grace.
"Don't worry Grace, Simon will cheer her up. Grace, I'm sending all your drivers to site SG-1." Says Volteer.
"But DAAAAAAAD!" moans Grace.
"That's my final word on the subject." says Volteer before he leaves.

4 hours later, Grace is telling everyone Volteer's orders.
"We are being sent to site SG1 at 2100 hours." Says Grace.
"Site SG1?" asks Cynder.
"Dad's most secret and armoured facility" replies Grace before she hears a knock on the door.

"Hi Spyro, come in." Says Grace before he walks into the dorm.
"Volteer has given me these grenades make of Cynder's venom. They are filled with 'Cynder Gas' " says Spyro.
"thanks" says Cynder before putting them into her bum bag.
"Volteer told me to tell you that your transport leaves in an hour from shuttle pad B." says Spyro.

"WHAT! I was told 2100 hours." says Grace.
"Nothing to do with me, i just passed on the message." Says Spyro before everyone packs up and prepares to leave.
"I'll miss you all." Says Cynder before she hugs them all before they pick up their rucksacks and leave.

An engineer is doing some maintenance work on a missile launcher when he gets knocked out by surprise by a figure. The figure nicks the engineers tools and starts work.

It takes the figure to finish his work. He looks at the clock 1450. “Done on time.” says the figure before he covered the modified launcher with a leather cover and leaves.

The engineer comes round to see a missile launcher in pieces and a missing missile.
“OH *bleep*!” he yells before tapping his com-necklace.
“Geordi to Ignitus. We have a serious situation.” says Geordi.
“What is it Geordi?” asks Ignitus.
“A tomahawk is missing and the P.A.L (Permissive Action Link) has been overridden.” replies Geordi.
“I thought it was impossible to override the P.A.L?” asks Ignitus.
“So did I but this thief has knowledge in missile mechanics. He or she is good.” says Geordi.
“Find out who stole it!!!” says Ignitus.
“On it...” says Geordi before he closes the channel.

Meanwhile at the underground gate, some engineers are trying to get the gate open.

“The hinges are rusted solid. We can’t shift them.” Says an engineer before a tapping is heard. “Huh?” they both say. “It might be a woodpecker.” says Cyril.
“It has a rhythm. It’s not a woodpecker it’s Morse code.” says Volteer.

“Can you translate it?” asks Ignitus.
Volteer just grins.
“Take that as a yes then. Quiet let him listen.” says Cyril.
He listens to the tapping on the door.
“So what does it mean?” asks Cyril.
“STAND BACK!” yells Volteer before a bang and the door bursts open.
Spyro is standing in the doorway with a C4 detonator and huge grin on his face.

“Young dragon, You never cease to amaze me..” says Ignitus.
“Don’t encourage him.” Says Sparx.
“An explosive talent like that, it should be.” Says Terridor.

“Why are we going underground?” asks Spyro as they start to walk down the walkway.
“This is the only way we’ll overtake him before he completes his circle of fire.” replies Ignitus as Kindle’s squadron flies by.
Kindle has a really *bleep*ed off look on her face. They are armed to the teeth with wing mounted missile launchers and carrying machine guns in their paws.

“The leader of the squadron looks really *bleep*ed.” says Cynder.
Ignitus looks at the passing dragon. “That’s my cousin Kindle. Her mate was murdered in cold blood day before yesterday. She’s *bleep*ed off and mourning.” says Ignitus. “Oh.” says Cynder.

“Terridor, did you know a tomahawk was stolen earlier?” asks Ignitus.
“WTF!” says Volteer and Cyril together.
“No I didn’t” replies Terridor as they walk along.
“What’s a tomahawk?” asks Spyro.
“It’s a missile with an antimatter warhead.” Replies Ignitus.
“Oh.” says Spyro. “Ancestors forbid what will happen if it falls in the wrong paws.” says Ignitus.
Terridor is muttering to himself. “
I have a surprise for the destroyer.” he says before laughing to himself as he walks.
“I’ve noticed that Terridor is walking slowly than normal.” says Cynder.
“Are you OK Terridor?” asks Ignitus.
“Yeah, I’m ok. Just thinking how to slow down the destroyer that’s all.” replies Terridor as they go through a pair of doors onto a ledge. They see the destroyer in the distance.
“How long do we have?” asks Ignitus as he turns to face Volteer.
“Midday at his current velocity.” says Volteer.
“Huh?” asks Sparx.
“He will finish his task by lunch at the rate he is walking.” Replies Spyro.
“WHY DOESN’T HE JUST SAY THAT!” shouts Sparx.
“So Terridor any ideas how to slow him down?” asks Ignitus.
“He’s stalling...” says Sparx.
“What for?” asks Cynder.
“I don’t know.” replies Ignitus.

Terridor suddenly uncovers his back to reveal a modified missile launcher with a small tomahawk in it.
“HOLY *bleep*!” yells Cyril as he sees the missile.
“EVERYONE IN THE CAVE!“ yells Ignitus before they all run into the cave apart from Terridor.
“Why are we in here?” asks Spyro.
“You don’t want to be around when that missile detonates. The explosion will rip the flesh off your bones before it tears you apart molecule by molecule.” explains Volteer.

“EAT ANTIMATTER YOU LAVE SON OF A UGLY *bleep*!” yells Terridor before he launches the missile and runs into the cave.
A big explosion and everyone covers their faces with their wings.
They walk onto the ledge. Spyro whistles and says “That’s a big hole.” as he sees the crater. It’s 2km big.
“Rest in pieces.” says Terridor.
“Vapour to be correct.” says Volteer.
“Don’t spoil Terridor’s moment of glory.” says Ignitus as Terridor comes onto the ledge with a grin of satisfied triumph.
“Now that’s a scary sight.” says Sparx.
“What’s a scary sight?” asks Spyro.
“Terridor grinning.” Replies Sparx.
“Oh.” says Spyro.

“Err, Ignitus, turn round and look.” says Kindle.
He turns round to see the crater fill with lava and a hand comes out of it.
“Terridor’s going to have a fit” says Ignitus.
“WHAT WILL IT TAKE TO TAKE THESE SONS OF *bleep*s DOWN? TIME FOR DRASTIC BLOODY MEASURES!” yells Terridor before he taps be com-necklace.
“Oh boy he’s in for it now...” says Cyril.

“Terridor to Demodor.” says Terridor.
“Demodor here. Is the package ready?” asks Terridor.
“Gassed up and ready for launch. Just need a target.” replies Demodor. Terridor points a laser at the destroyer.
“Target launched. Package inbound.” says Demodor as roar of engines is heard before he closes the channel.
“Put these on.” says Terridor before he gives everyone a pair of dark goggles and leads everyone back into the cave.

The missile hits the destroyer and a flash and mushroom cloud appears at the cavern.
Terridor closes the doors and quickly bolts them before a massive shockwave rattles the doors.
“What the hell was that?” asks Spyro and Cynder.
“Nuclear warhead.” replies Terridor as the rattling stops.
“A nuke! I thought they were all destroyed in favour of antimatter warheads. I saved a few just in case...” says Cyril.
They open the doors and see a burnt wasteland.
“Two of Terridor’s ambitions in just one day. He’ll be tough be live with now.” sighs Cyril as Terridor grins ear to ear.
“LOOK!” yells Kindle as a purple orb drags the fire line towards the other end of it.
“Looks like he going to do it himself.” says Ignitus.
“It you want it done properly do it....” says Cyril before he gets a right hook from Cynder.
“Ow. That’s going to hurt.” says Spyro before a black eye appears in Cyril’s face.
“You deserved that. If it wasn’t me it was going to be Terridor.” says Cynder.

“What are going to do?” asks Cyril.
“I will take them through the ring of fire. Terridor, you’re in charge until I get back.” Says Terridor
“What if you don’t?” asks Kindle.
“Kindle, you know your duty.” replies Ignitus before Kindle rubs the belly of her armour and nods.
“Sparx get everyone to the underground city.” says Ignitus before he takes off.
“I want to come with you.” says Sparx.
“Sparx you won’t take the heat and mum won’t be happy if I brought you back flame roasted.” says Spyro before he and Cynder follow Ignitus.

“Ok, ok. I’ll lead them to the underground city.” says Sparx before he leaves for Wolfrag following Terridor, Cyril, Kindle and Volteer.

Terridor taps on a console and his face appears on every screen in the city.
“Citizens of Wolfrag meet us at the Underground city gate immediately for evacuation.” says Terridor.
The screen suddenly changes to Volteer.
“Go to the Black Messa district hanger 14. I have somewhere safer where we can evacuate to.” says Volteer.

Half an hour later, a massive crowd is waiting by the hanger door.
Volteer puts his face to the retinal scanner and the door opens.
He goes into a hanger with a metal ring with 7 “v” on it.
“What is that and how does it help us?” asks Cyril.
“30 years ago, I discovered this ancient device while doing some archaeology at an old dragon temple ruins.
It gives you instantaneous travel to over planets via a subspace wormhole. It’s called a Stargate.” replies Volteer before he taps on a console. A klaxon sounds and the inner ring starts to spin. “Stay off the walkway unless you want to die in a wave of unstable matter.” warns Volteer.
A “v” locks into place. “Chevron one encoded.” says the hanger computer.
“How are you controlling the Stargate?” asks Cyril.
“I had to create an interface between the Stargate and the hanger computer. I generated a series on instructions based on electrical impulses to which the gate crystals would respond. It lots of trial and error over 15 years.” Replies Volteer. “Oh.” says Cyril as the hanger computer announces “Chevron 6 encoded.”
“Watch this.” Says Volteer as the computer announces “Chevron 7 locked!” and wave comes out of the ring and goes back in again. A wall of shimmering water is the centre of the ring.
“Awesome...” says Sparx in amazement.
“Everyone follow me.” says Volteer before he walks into the Stargate. The others nervously follow him into the wall of water.

A few seconds later, they step out of the Stargate onto a sunny meadow. “This is your electric guardian speaking, welcome to P three X niner eight niner. Where it’s a barmy room temperature.” says Volteer before the Stargate disengages with a swoosh.

One dragon looks a bit sick. “I don’t feel well.” He says.
“It’s gate lag, it’ll pass.” says Volteer before he points to a planet in the sky.
“Why are you pointing to the planet for?” asks Cyril.
“It’s our home.” replies Volteer.
“oh.” says Cyril.

Spyro, Cynder and Ignitus land on a ledge above the ring of fire.
“Wow that’s hot. I wish I brought a roasting fork because I have a bag of marshmallows in my rucksack.” Says Spyro.
“now’s not the time to think about food. We have somehow need to get through this inferno.” Says Cynder before she sees Ignitus roasting a burger on the flames. Cynder gives him a funny look.
“What? Oh the burger. I missed lunch.” Says Ignitus before he puts it in a roll with cheese and eats it.
“he’s got to eat sometime....” says Spyro. Cynder just gives him a funny look as Ignitus burps and flame comes out of his mouth. “Excuse me.” says Igntus.

“How are going to get past it?” asks Cynder.
“I may be able to offer some protection from the heat” says Ignitus before a bubble covers them and they start to walk in the fire.
A hour later, Spyro sniffs the air.
“Something smells good I wonder what’s cooking?” asks Spyro.
“Err, Spyro it’s us!” replies Cynder.
“ahh Crap....” says Spyro.
“Not only that, Ignitus is getting weaker. I don’t know how long he’ll be able to keep the shield up.” Says Spyro. “Oh *bleep*.” says Cynder.

“Spyro, Cynder I’ve haven’t done you both right.” says Ignitus. “Save your strength we’ll make it.” says Cynder.
“My path ends here, my destiny is here.” says Ignitus.
“What are you saying?” asks Spyro.
“Spyro I’ve kept this from you long enough. I have some to tell you.” says Ignitus.
“But...” says Spyro before Cynder puts a paw over his mouth. “Let him finish.” says Cynder.
“Spyro, I am your father. No go. GO!” says Ignitus before he uses the strength he had left to catapult Spyro and Cynder out of the ring of Fire.

“IGNITUS NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!” yells Spyro.
“Spyro he’s gone let it go.” says Cynder.
“NO!” yells Spyro before he turns black, smoke full of evil energy comes out of him. He eyes are glowing in an evil glow.
“Spyro Stop!” yells Cynder.
“You can’t stop me.” says Spyro in an evil voice.
“No but you can.” says Cynder before Spyro returns to normal.

Cynder give Spyro a reassuring rub on his snout. “Ignitus would have wanted us to go on together.” Says Cynder.

“I guess you are right.” Says Spyro before an ape call is heard. Cynder flips off the safety catch of one of her gas grenades and throws it at the ape.

“WARNING! BIOHAZARD! Shields activated” says Spyros’ belt before a shield covers Spyro.
Cynder just causally walks into the gas cloud.
She sees the apes cough. She coughs and says “neurotoxin, so deadly choking.” She says before she laughs. The apes are turning green.

“In kidding. When I said deadly neurotoxin. The ‘deadly’ was in massive sarcasm quotes. I can take a bath in this stuff, put on cereal, and put it in my eyes. Honestly it isn’t deadly ‘to me...’ You on the other paw are going to find it’s deadliness a lot less funny.” says Cynder before the apes keel over dead.

“What in ancestor’s name was that?” asks Spyro as the gas cloud disappears and he sees the apes with green faces and dead.
“a gas grenade made from my poison element venom. Extremely deadly and quick acting...” replies Cynder before she gives him a grenade in her likeness.
“What’s this?” asks Spyro.
“It’s a Cynder gas grenade. Just pull the neck brace, throw and scarper! You have 6 seconds before she starts spewing gas.” explains Cynder.
“Thanks.” Says Spyro before he puts it into his rucksack.
“10 seconds after exposure their lungs burn, 30 seconds nerves stop working and they are dead within a minute.” Says Cynder. “Scary.” Says Spyro.
“It’s effective on lava soldiers too.” Says Cynder.

“Cynder, have you notice we’re wearing armour?!” asks Spyro. “No. We were’t wearing it when we started to walk into wall of fire.” replies Cynder before Spyro puts a paw on a set of gems. The chronicler appears.

“Spyro, Cynder the armour you’re wearing is not just infused with some of Ignitus’ powers.” Says the Chronicler.
“More?” asks Spyro.
“yes more.” Replies the chronicular before he continues talking.
“Spyro, your armour in infused with Ignitus’s love because he was your father. Cynder, yours is infused with the sorrow he felt when he couldn’t protect you. It has enhanced you fear element powers to a scary level. It gives me the creeps.” explains the chronicler before Spyro laughs. “Huh?” asks Cynder.
“The pun the Chronicler just made about your armour about how it enhances your powers.” replies Spyro.
The chronicler realises what he said and laughs.
A doorbell is heard in the background. “Oh my pizza, got to go.” Says the Chronicler before the gems stop glowing and he disappears.
“How can he think about food when the world is gonna end any minute?” asks Cynder. “How can he make pun when he’s talking about something serious?” asks Spyro. “Good point” says Cynder before she laughs with Spyro.

3 hours and loads of displaced soldiers later, they are on a cliff top listening to Malefor’s speech to a crowd of gathered minions.

"My Loyal minions, soon our victory will be upon us and I will rule the world.
You my loyal army will reap great rewards.

The balance of power will tip towards that dark side. This power shift will mean a new world order and you my loyal army will play a central role to keep it that way.
We will squash the opposition like bugs. We will take away their freedom and rights away from the by force.

Our time has come that this world will submit to our order and rules. Soon they will bow to us or they will beg me for mercy....

Only the strong will live, as for the weak.... they will be exterminated.

Oh, as for the legendary purple dragon, kill him on sight.” Says Malefor before the crowd Cheers.

"That's all I have to say in my speech, but I have got a song about the war. I haven't rehearsed it though." says Malefor.

"Sing it." shouts Cynder.
"Yeah, sing it." choruses Malefor's Minions.
"I can't." says Malefor.
"SING THE *bleep*ing SONG!" yells Spyro.

"Well if you all insist it goes a little like this:

“AGAIN!” yells the crowd.

“We could end this war by a shot from my barrels. I have a target lock. Just give me the order.” says GLaDOS.
“She’s right but Spyro you look not so sure.” says Cynder.
“I could be that would of not what Ignitus wanted and I doubt that the Chronicler can spell ‘molecular displacement’ “says Spyro.
“oh.” Says Cynder.
“I completely agree with you Spyro. Ignitus gave you his life to get you this far and I respect that.” says GLaDOS before she powers down the barrels.

Spyro attaches a transporter tag and configures it.
“The tag attached to you is programmed to locate Volteer and transport you to his location. Tell him what happened to Ignitus and we plan to take on Malefor.” says Spyro. “Ok. Ready for transport.” Says GLaDOS.
Spyro activates the tag. “Good luck and may the ancestors protect you.” Says GLaDOS before she disappears in a blue beam. It went unnoticed by Malefor and his minions.

“He’s not a bad singer for an evil despicable *bleep*.” says Cynder as they sneak past a guard that was very interested in the Malefor’s song.

They walk down a corridor to a chamber full of dragon statues. They see graffiti on the wall saying “MALEFOR WAZ ERE!”

Spyro smiles and walks over to a statue.
“Err, Spyro what are you doing?” asks Cynder as she watches Spyro open a panel in a statue and starts work.
“Volteer Peltzer Turbo online. Transferring configuration to all available turbo.” Says the statue and Spyro closes the hatch.
“Volteer told me if you configure one it’ll configure the rest as well. They are all over the temple.” Says Spyro.
“Oh. I hear someone coming, hide.” Says Cynder before they hide behind a pillar.

An ape guard walks into the room. “Intruder detected.” Says the statues before they unfurl their wings and stand up to face the ape. A charging sound is heard.
“put these on.” Says Spyro before he gives Cynder a pair of sunglasses. She puts them on.

A bright light fills their vision before a beam of light goes through the ceiling. The ape is yelling in pain.
Cynder pulls out a bag of popcorn. It pops in the beams heat. She opens it and shares it with Spyro.
They beam fades and they see the ape in a cage singed and unaware what hit him.
“Nice.” says Cynder. “Do you know the Dragon Statue in the dragon room?” asks Spyro as they walk.
“yes” replies Cynder before asking “why?”
“Volteer told me that when the Ape King forces invaded to steal your egg they badly damaged the statue. So without the other guardians knowing he replaced it with a Volteer Peltzer Turbo with its own independent A.I based on himself.” replies Spyro as they walk through the dragon room.
There are singe marks on the floor.
“I see he’s been busy.” Says Cynder as they pass the statue. It’s just standing still lifeless as they pass.

They come to an door.
Spyro turns to face Cynder.
“are you ready for this?” asks Spyro.
“I took down a golem with my bare paws.” Replies Cynder before asking “Is that ready enough?”
“oh yeah!” replies Spyro before they both drop kick the doors open.

“Hello ugly, how does defeat taste like?” asks Cynder.
“Disgusting, after 3 years of planning and scheming you blow them all apart!” replies Malefor before he stands up. “Your attack force on Wolfrag got PWND by our forces.” says Spyro. “Yeah big time!” says Cynder.

“Well, you found me. Congratulations. Was it worth it? Because despite your violent behaviour, the only thing you've managed to break so far is my heart.” Says Malefor
“You don’t have a heart you evil *bleep*.” Says Cynder.
“Maybe you could settle for that, and we'll just call it a day.” Says Malefor.
“Not while you are still breathing.” Says Spyro.
“I guess we both know that isn't going to happen. You chose this path, now I have a surprise for you.” Says Malefor before a golem head comes through the ceiling.
“Time out for a second. That wasn't supposed to happen” says Malefor before a dragon statue slides down a rope. “MALEFOR! My name is Igforus. You killed my son and I want REVENGE!!” yells the Statue before he throws a fireball bigger than anything Spyro could make. Malefor dodges it swearing blue murder.
“HA, missed me!” says Malefor before he blows up the statue with a purple ball of energy. Minions run in to clear up the mess.

“You and I share many qualities other than our colour.” Says Malefor. Spyro just huffs.
“He’s nothing like you!” says Cynder. Malefor laughs.
“we’ll get to that.” Says Malefor.
“YOU KILLED MY FATHER AND I WAT REVENGE!!” says Spyro.
“That is one way are alike. The taste of revenge.” Says Malefor.
“Huff” says Spyro.
“You you’re father. Me let’s just say I was treated like scum and banished. The world will fear my wrath when it’s destroyed and you along with it!” says Malefor before he laughs.
“Dare ya.” whispers Cynder.
“Aren’t you forgetting something?” asks Spyro.
“What?” replies Malefor.
“Won’t you be too?” asks Spyro.
“I am eternal.” Replies Malefor.
“That maybe but you are not immortal.” Says Spyro before he has a cheeky wide grin on his face.
Malefor stops laughing.
“THAT IS *bleep*ing *bleep*!” says Malefor
“It’s true, like it not. Life’s a *bleep* isn’t it?” asks Spyro.

Cynder groans in pain before she turns black and smoke full of evil energy comes out of her.
“Ignitus should have told you, my control over her is very deep. Kill him.” Says Malefor.
“Yes master” says Cynder.
She whips him with her tail before she gives him a right hook to the face. He slams into a wooden pillar and it splits in two.
“That’s it!!!” says Spyro before he gets up and fights Cynder. He defeats her.
“Kill me.” says Cynder. “No. I won’t give Malefor the satisfaction. Friends don’t kill each other.” Says Spyro before she returns to normal.

Malefor roars in fury before a minion runs in.
“Master, we’re getting killed by statues!” yells the minion clutching a stitch in his side.
“WHAT?” asks Malefor.
“The statues are killing every solider and minion lead by the one in the dragon room.” replies the minion before he gets blown up by Malefor.
“We listen to our elders. They told me the secret of the statues and now your minions are feeling their wrath.” Says Spyro before he laughs.

Meanwhile at the Celestial Temple the Chronicler is watching Spyro and Cynder’s meeting in the Hourglass.
He is eating a bowl of popcorn. “I wish that fight with the golem was in 3D. That would of been awesome.” Says the Chronicler before Malefor says “Prepare to DIE!”
“*bleep* 2D!” says The Chronicler as he watches Malefor Take off followed by Cynder and Spyro.

"Make it double" says Cynder.
"To protect the world from devastation," says Spyro.
"And to save every denizen in every nation." says Cynder.
"To denounce Malefor's evil rule" says Spyro
"Using our elements as tools" says Cynder.

"SPYRO," says Spyro.
"Cynder" says Cynder.
"The chosen ones blast off at the speed of light" says Spyro.
"Surrender now or prepare to fight" says Cynder
"THAT'S right" they both say in unison before they double team clothesline Malefor.

He stumbles and corrects himself. "lucky shot" says Malefor before he throws a ball of fire at Spyro.
It hits him and absorbed by his armour.
"Fire don't hurt us hot head..." says Spyro before malefor growls in frustration.
Cynder gives Malefor a right hook to the face. Malefor growls in pain before he calls Cynder every female insult under the sun. She just gives him a harder right hook to the face.

"Hey Mallo! What sinks more, you or Terridor's farts?" asks Spyro. Malefor growls in anger as he throws an purple energy ball. Spyro moves out the way to reveal a portal in the wall. It goes into it and comes out of another and hits Malefor in the butt.
"HA-HA" says Cynder and pointing.

Malefor growls.
"Hey Malo, look what I got." Says Spyro holding up a staff.
"Give that back" says Malefor before Spyro suddenly drops it. "oops, paw slipped." Says Spyro.
"That thing you burned up wasn't important to me. Nice job breaking it hero." Says Malefor before throwing a ball of energy at Spyro. Spyro dodges it and It goes through Spyro's portals and hit Malefor.

"OW! The only thing you're broken so far is my nose. Maybe you can settle for that and call it a day." Says Malefor.
"*bleep* you!" says Cynder.
"We all know that was going to happen." Says Malefor.
"you got that right." Says Spyro.

"cake and grief counselling will be available at the end of the world." Says Malefor.
"THE CAKE IS A LIE!" yells a rock statue as it flies past.
"that statement is a complete fabrication. I'm not enhancing the truth at all." Says Malefor.
"Yeah right." Says Cynder.
"The cake is delicious and moist." Says Malefor before he throws a earth ball at Spyro. "AND A LIE!" says Spyro before he dodges it and it goes into Spyro's portals and hits Malefor.

"*bleep* THOSE FIRE RINGS!!!" says Malefor before he is hit by a clothesline by a massive rock arm.
He falls out of the sky and comes back a minute later. Malefor spits out a few teeth and a blood covered spit wad. "GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!" says Malefor as Spyro flies off.

Meanwhile on Wolfrag common, a turret is scanning the common bored when a pair of purple paws grabs it and it flies into the air.

"I'm flying in the air,
Scanning for targets without a care,
Being up here,
Is better than being down there...." sings the turret as the paws pull a tight turn round a rocky peak.
"Spyro's back and he has a surprise for you Malefor." Says Cynder before Spyro flies into Malefor's View.
"OH *bleep*" says Malefor as he sees the turret.
"I see you." Says The turret before opening fire.
"UGGGH! I HATE YOU!!!" yells Malefor before he flies off. Spyro and Cynder land on a ledge after putting the turret on it. "Are you still there ugly?" asks the turret as Spyro and Cynder high five.

A lava golem suddenly appears in behind of Spyro and Cynder. "I see you." Says the turret before it opens fire. "Oh crap..." says Cynder after they turn round.
The Golem spits lava at them. It just bounces off Spyro and Cynder's armour.
"it burns" says the turret before it explodes.
Cynder pulls to safety catches of 2 Cynder grenades and throws them into the golem's mouth. He keels over dead. "You were right about the grenade killing lava soldiers." Says Spyro before they both take off.

They find Malefor on a ledge with bullet wounds in his arms, legs and tail. He is breathing heavily. They land and carefully walk towards Malefor.

“I’m in no state to defend myself. Kill me if that is what you want to do.” Says Malefor.
“No. You have done unspeakable evil things. Even though you deserve to die. I’m not like you, I show mercy and compassion.” Says Spyro.
“But.....” says Cynder.
“Ignitus taught me that killing isn’t an answer to everything. Two wrongs don’t make a right.” Says Spyro.
“Fine. You can take your mercy and shove it up your *bleep*. When I’m healed, the world will suffer your mistake...” says Malefor.

“fine. I offered you a choice to receive expert medical attention and a chance of a new life full of new amazing things. (Sighs) You made your choice. come on Cynder, we’re wasting our time here.” Says Spyro as Malefor sticks his middle claw at them.
They take off.

What did Terridor mean by a code ‘TN’ and his stations on standby awaiting your signal?” asks Cynder.
Spyro suddenly taps his com-necklace.
“Attention all Terridor’s missile sites. Report your status.” says Spyro.
“Cillidor at Dantee’s freezer, standing by.” says Cillidor.
“Demodor at Dragon Peak, standing by.” says Demodor.
“Territus at Roasty Peak, standing by.” says Territus.
“Demiza at Flame Mountain, Standing by.” says Demiza.
“Kanodor at Tall Plains, Standing by.” says Kanodor.
“Ignitodor at Ignitus’s Oven, standing by.” says Ignitodor.
“Voltdor at Lightning Peak, standing by.” says Voltdor.
“Icedor at Icy Peak, standing by.” says Icedor.
“Hotdor at Fire Peak, standing by.” says Hotdor.
“Terridor Junior, at Earth Peak, standing by.” says Terridor Junior.

“Prepare for Plan TN.” says Spyro.
“TN’s ready for Launch.” says all the missile sites.
Spyro points a laser at the Dragon Temple.
“TN inbound!!!!” they all shout as a roar of engines is heard from Spyro’s com-necklace.

A klaxon is sounding from Spyro’s belt.
“FRIENDLY NUKES INBOUND!!!!!! 5 minutes till impact.” says the belt computer.
Spyro and Cynder fly away from Malefor’s lair fast as their wings could carry them.

3 minutes later they land on a ledge and put dark goggles on.
“Impact in 3,2,1” says the belt computer before a shield covers both Spyro and Cynder.
A Mushroom Cloud bigger than anything than Spyro has seen before erupts from Malefor’s Lair.
“So that’s what 12 Tactical nukes look like when exploded at the same time.” says Spyro and Cynder as they watch the mushroom cloud get bigger and bigger.
The shockwave just bounces off Spyro’s shield grid.
Meanwhile on P3X989, they are looking at the sky at their home planet. An explosion is coming out of the planet. “There it is. The end of the world.” says someone.
“Hold on a minute, pass me your binoculars Volteer.” says Terridor. “Sure.” says Volteer before he passes them to Terridor.
“That’s not the end of the world; it’s a nuclear mushroom cloud and a massive one at that. Spyro has decided to nuke Malefor off the face of the planet. I’m so proud.” says Terridor before he wipes a small tear from his eye.

The cloud take 4 hours to die down.
“very impressive, I’m so proud..” says a voice from behind them.
They both turn round to see Terridor walking towards them.
“Hi Terridor, what a surprise to see you.” Says Cynder.
“I knew that Spyro would give Malefor a chance to give up his evil ways but he told you to take your offer and shove it up your *bleep*.” Says Terridor.
“Yep.” Says Spyro.
“So you nuked with a nuclear warhead.” Says Terridor
“12” corrects Spyro.
“12!!!! BLOODY HELL!!!” says Terridor.
“Yep.” Says Spyro.
“No wonder I could see it from space.” Says Terridor.
“space?” asks Cynder.
“it’s complicated.” Says Terridor.
“Ok.” Says Cynder before a cheetah in a red cape and wearing a rucksack labelled “Wolfrag AVATAR program” run towards them. She has a massive grin on her face.
“MEADOW! I hope you have food in that rucksack” says Cynder. “Yeah, ‘cause we are both starving.” Says Spyro before she takes off the rucksack.
She opens it and pulls out a mat.

She unpacks:
• A cake with a nuclear symbol on it
• Flasks
• Fruit
• Sandwiches
• Chocolate bars
• Cans of bonk!
Cynder opens can of “bonk!” and gulps it down in one.
She suddenly burps a mushroom cloud and goes really hyper..

“That stuff is made by Dad and he swears by it. It has 9000 times the recommended dose of sugar.” Says Meadow.
“No wonder Cynder is hyper.” Says Spyro as they watch Cynder run up and down the field at high speed.
“I’m a freaking blur here!” says Cynder.
3 hours later, the food was gone and Cynder had calmed down from the sugar high.
Meadow packs up the picnic and puts on her rucksack.
“thanks for the supper meadow” says Cynder.
“you’re welcome. Follow me to site 12 and tell everyone what you saw and did. I bet it’ll be the best story ever told.” says Meadow before she leads the way to the camp.

Meanwhile at the Celestial Temple, the Chronicler is looking in the hourglass. He hears footsteps.

“ah, I’ve been expecting you friend. Every time a new age starts a new chronicler is chosen to chronicle that age. It’s been my job for many millennia, it’s my honour to pass the torch to you, Ignitus.” Says The Chronicler before he disappears in a white light. Ignitus is now white and wearing all the Chronicler’s equipment and cape.
“well done, young dragon. well done..” says Ignitus.

"I'm in a lava pit.." says Core.

"The End..." Malefor.
