Xbox 360, PS3, and 3DS versions 99.99% confirmed
Bestbuy.com has pre-orders ffor Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of this game. The ETA for the game is set for October 1st, 2011, a day later than the announced released date.
The title has also appeared as an upcoming title on PS3trophies.org
The 3DS version per-order was found at VideoGameCentral.com.
PC versions have also been popping up, but like any PC release of a title, it's questionable how the content of the game will differ from the console versions. It looks compatible with Windows XP and newer.
And in addition, preemptive pre-orders on amazon.com feature the "Adventure Pack" which was speculated to be an item only available at Toys'R'Us. And strangely, a PC "Adventure Pack" is being listed at only $59.99 with a price guarantee attached to it.

Re: Xbox 360, PS3, and 3DS versions 99.99% confirmed
The sooner this game comes out and I can see if it's good or bad, the better. Course I've got a bad feeling the Skylanders vs. Classic vs. Legend debate will rage on for years to come, but at least I'll be able to form an opinion other than generic optimism...
So is there a pre-order Wii version anywhere? And what's the difference between an "Adventure pack" and a non-Adventure pack game? Does the non-adventure just come with Spyro for those of us who don't want any toys?

I was going to wait until the guinea pigs try it...

I should rent it. But of course I will have to pay for the toys.

Some of the toys look ideal as a collection, of course so far Spyro is the only one worth preserving

Re: Xbox 360, PS3, and 3DS versions 99.99% confirmed
that's still $60 for a video game. i don't care how much other franchises try to milk out of us, it's still not right/cheap.
we're in a recession; it's not a good idea to go throwing big numbers around like that when so many families are struggling.
and even if we weren't, that's still $60 for cheap entertainment. i would agree completely with parents who didn't buy this for their kids, no video game is worth $60.

i would imagine some sort of demo will be released, and it wont require any toys to sample it out. The way Activision has released information makes me think they want to promote the hell out of it when the time comes.

Re: Xbox 360, PS3, and 3DS versions 99.99% confirmed
Great now I'll have to be selling this game in my store. I thought it was only gonna be a Toys R us exclusive. guess not. I still think its a gimmick especially when you have to buy toys to play other characters. Although I feel that they are marketing this differently just because spyros logo has changed big time it aint SPYRO skylanders adventure, and have his trademark logo on it like all the previous games had its different and it names spyro in smaller letters and not in bold like his previous titles did.
