I really don't know why you wish it were true, the original legends make them out to be horrible monsters that destroy homes and kill men, women and children. It's only in this modern age that we make them out to be noble and helpful creatures.

Mankind is also responsible for creating those warm homes and providing those families with the means to be happy. The bottom line it that dragons a fictional creatures that would be very inconvenient to have running around all the time, wish that elves were real instead there much more helpful apparently.

but i certainly don't see why dragons would be all that bad if people just left them alone.

hahaa true , where do you all think the word "dragon" came from? just out of the blue? someone had to have seen it to name it that . and plus, if you did your research, how did china and the English both have the definition of a dragon if they both were isolated from the world?

Ok I'm going to answer your questions and then you answer mine, if your saying that you have to see something to name it then do you believe that all mythical creatures are real? are you saying people can't just make words up? are you implying that even ewoks are real? Secondly they didn’t the Chinese don't call there mythological creature dragon they call it a l'ong we just translated it as dragon and lets be honest Chinese dragons and European dragons don't look the same.

Now tell me these, why is there no recorded evidence of a real dragon? Or cave paintings? or fossils?

Ok, I was off on the whole realistic dragon thing, and I apologise for any confusion I caused. My point is I like how he looks. But sadly we must admit that Spyro is only in this game for the purpose of it being sold. It also saddens me that this proves that Spyro has officially joined Sonic in the world of gaming mediocrities. hmm

for no recorded evidence : well, lets look at the possibility's. what if they don't want to be seen? or left the planet? or only show themselves to certain people?

for cave paintings: there is evidence, do your research. i suggest you google or something.

for fossils: there is evidence of fossils being founded, and i could show you one.

what if they don't want to be seen?: Why would they not want to be seen? And even if they didn't we would have spotted things of there size that fly, eat large prey, and breathe fire by now.

How about you show me your research if you’re so sure.

As for that video: that doesn’t look like a dragon, it was in the ocean, it looks like a prehistoric creature to me, what made you think it was a dragon?

And you still haven’t answered all of my arguments; do you accept I was right about those?

As for being a sceptic...how can I be a sceptic about things that were made up in stories! 1000 years down the line people like you will be trying to convince everyone that pokemon were real and people like me will be trying to bring some sense to them.

Skepticism is a good thing. It puts a few mental walls up that good ideas can easily scale, but will prevent bad ideas getting in, to put it in layman's terms. So don't be hating on the skeptics.

Also Leo, Spyro was in the realm of gaming mediocrity long before Sonic.
