TV Show, anyone?

I had a dream about Spyro getting a Tom and Jerry-like or Yogi-Bear-like cartoon. It was kinda confusing, but just imagine it. It would be kind of funny, really. Since Spyro failed to come out on the big screen, why not a cartoon?

No, Cartoons based off Video Games tend to suck.

Examples:Super Mario Show, Zelda, Battletoads.

Not really, but I was just referring to some of the funny things that happen in those cartoons. I mean, it wouldn't have to look like it was made in the 70s, it could look like TODAY cartoons, like Regular Show or stuff like that.

Well I wouldent mind one, classic would be great, LOS wouldent be to bad but my last pick and a skylanders one would be a great way to flesh out the new characters and new Spyro.

Maybe Faust could do it after her Hasbro contract expires. She already did the impossible and made ponies awesome.

Yeah. Good point. But wait, Faust could mess it up. Who knows what they could do? They could make Sparx not understandable again, kill off some of the most important characters, or anything that would ruin the idea. Either that, or it would be a huge sucess and they wouldn't change anything. Because now that Activision, the makers of Call of Duty, have screwed Spyro, just think what Faust might do.

it'd be cool if the shows looked like they were made in the 70s. ^^ cartoons back then seemed to have more detail and professionalism in the drawings than they do today.

except for the color, of course. we need the bright/neon color of today, that's awesome.

but i swear to you, if need be, i will personally see to it that Faust never touches this franchise with a 10-mile pole.

Oh my god YES! The point is, however, Faust can NOT touch the Spyro televsion series if it comes to be.

Tara Strong (the voice of Twilight Sparkle) already voiced a handful of characters in A Hero's Tail. She's like the Tom Kenny of female and young male characters.

Tara Strong made Spyro sound like he was drinking or something so Tara Strong is the least of our troubles.

better than a television show. Think about it: how many video game
television shows even worked out well? The answer: little to none.

Well, you, me, and everyone that was excited for the discontinued rumor of the movie know that Spyro isn't right for the big screen to the makers of the games. A tv series would seem better.

It all depends on how someone makes it. Like ontels said, Classic Spyro would be good, TLOS would be better,

At this point in time, basing it on Skylanders would be best. I could see it being like Friendship is magic, except with young boys in the target audience, yet ironically resulting in a lot of popularity among older girls.

Oh sorry. I remembered wrong. I thought you said Classic Spyro would be good, TLOS, would be better, but Skylanders would be a great way to flesh out the new characters.
