Re: My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic

It's not as though the majority of us have any say in the sim, there's not much we can do about it. That's like trying to get rid of R34 on the things you like, it's not going to happen. All you can do is ignore it.

Re: My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic

I know there's a small group whose making it. But there's so many people who actually support this project. That it just aggravates me. There are no words. Only Cheers and applause of an audience blinded by faith.

Re: My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic

That looks like a troll to me. Not that pony fan-games aren't around, but it looks pretty ridiculous. Bronies from /b/ are saying that they've never heard of the project or the user in charge.

Also, I don't think we should suddenly turn around and tell R34 makers that they can't be in club. They'll keep doing what they're doing even if you disapprove and attack them. Might as well cut down on the drama and let them do what they like. The Streisand effect is all we'll get by trying to stop them. Besides, I think we can stay clear of the furry fandom's path as long as we don't start imagining that we are actually ponies in spirit or some such malarky. And, naturally, we don't attract too much drama. R34 applies to everything, so whining about something because it has R34 is pointless. You might as well dislike lunch and anything that comes in jars.

Anyway, I guess you can choose to disassociate yourself from the bronies if you disapprove of their image, and just be a guy who likes a little-known cartoon. It doesn't really matter, now does it?

Re: My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic

Yeah, just because it's on EqD.com doesn't mean everyone brony approves.  I have no idea what the ratio is, but I don't buy into all the shipping.  I tend to not let the wild side of the fandom keep me from enjoying the ponies I know and love.  Kinda like the spyro fandom, or any fandom, really.  Just know that several brony sites are furry-generated, so they have furry-isms in them, not that that's bad or anything.

Re: My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic

Well, you have a week, and just over three and a half hours of ponies to find space for within that week. Good luck, and try not to hate the CMC too much. They'd be a fun distraction if they didn't show up so much.

I don't like Call of the Cutie, but I like the CMC.  Show Stoppers is my favorite episode.

Re: My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic

The only CMC episode I like was the Cutie Mark Chronicles, and that's because of all the mane 6 character development.

Re: My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic

the CMCs and Pinkie have one thing in common.  They annoy some pony fans, but after you've been a brony for a while, they start to grow on you.

To me, Sweetie Belle is no doubt the cutest of the 3 CMCs.

Same thing with Rarity, kindof.  No one liked Rarity until the later episodes that showed her 'fabulous' side aired.  Rarity is a very complex character, deeply involved in her morals and etiquette, and a hell of character to role play, as well.  As soon as you watch Dog and Pony Show, you'll see exactly what I mean.
