I beilive it was a well designed game, as far as graphics and playability. I voted a YES. I liked it.

I liked it, but I wish they could have made it so you can do the levels in whatever order you want, and also NO MORE ELEMENTAL BREATH TYPES!!! Other than that, it was good, especially the story.

Well, at least the elemental breaths looked different and did different things. I thought making the earth element a sonic boom was a nice idea, as well as being able to toss enemies around with electricity.

Overall, even though it was linear and kinda short, I also enjoyed the game. I am actually looking forward to the next Spyro game, because now that our new Spyro has a history, he can move forward onto new adventures. And hopefully they will improve upon the game. Despite the whole re-vamping, this is just what the Spyro series needs.

I think what they should have done was made LoS where Insomniac left off. To think, all the elemental breath types came from that one place in Spyro 3 where you get to use ice breath....

i liked it because it gave spyro a much more how shall i say it... porfound role storywise. i thought it was a great game actually!!!!

Yeah Ratchet,
you should try to play LOS ANB cause it is a pretty good game. I loved it, but then again I like the fact that it has a cool storyline and melee combat. I wanna ask u is the eternal night good? cause i don't have it cause i don't have a wii.

Update: I've played ANB and TEN and they are both really bad games in my opinion.

I didn't know u played those two already. I honestly kinda hated ANB alittle, but I don't really care about Spyro's looks in both

Both are just way too short and repetative. I dont mind spyro's new look but i prefered his other one.

Well Ratchet,
I actually do agree with you on one thing: the fact that you like the Older Spyro is something I like too because I really enjoyed playing Spyro The Dragon and Spyro 2 Ripto's Rage. But in the lines of the LOS games they are good games too. I guess it all depends on your likes and dislikes.

Most people like TLOS because of the Plot, music, characters and story and all that. But i judge by gameplay. I also dont like TLOS because it chooses to forget the old spyro's.

Hey ratchet,
how many times have you played Spyro Enter The Dragonfly? I like that game, but the loading screen is soooo annoying!
I have only played the first Spyro game once though and it was very good. My friend had it along with Spyro 2 and Spyro 3.

Yeah, ETD had long loading times. But atleast it stayed true to the originals.

Etd was, by any objective measure, the worst Spyro game of all. loading times were long, there was very little in the way of plot, and you had something called bubble breath which was useless except for catching dragonflies. the Elders were all named after martial arts guys, and the final boss was a downer..

i actually found ETD.... Fun. But i didn't find ANB or TEN fun at all.... So yeah, i find ANB or maybe TEN the worst spyro game dispite ETD's failures. Maybe Spyro: Orange or some handheld spyro game could be the worst too.
