From what it says on the web, The animation co. has opted rights from Sierra & Vivendi games to turn it Into A Movie!!!!

well' f they use the same voice actors or similar ones. And used the same graphics used in the final cutscenes of the games (or maybe more advanced, since you can do anything to movies these days) , then yeah it should work.

They say the movie will be based around ANB and TEN, so I'm guessing that it is possible they won't follow the storyline completely.

Hmn. I hope they do better with this then most game to movie conversions [along with the prince of persa movie aimed at 2009]

Well, it looks like someone learned from the mistake of abandoning their mascot on their 10th anniversary, leaving it to another company only for them to produce the worst game of that franchise thus far. It may have also stemmed from someone else's mascot getting nearly exactly the same treatment on their 15th anniverary.

I wanted Spyro to get at least a little bit more attention on his anniversary, what I got was a huge fiesta fling for national audiences. Shouldn't the LoS trilogy be finishing in 2008, too? Hmm...

As for the movie.. That would be quite exciting. I would definitely go see it. Hopefully they really do go through w/ it.

Meh... I'm not too exited bout this. All I want is Insomniac to take Spyro back :'( Sierra is destroying him! Look at his "gnorcy" face and what about Sparx ( :-o ) I hope, if they make a movie. Keep Spyro Spyro and Sparx... OMG! Just giving him back the buzzing

but the problem is that The original trilogy wasn't as involved in the sory as TLOS series.
But really, atleast its Spyro, even though hes been changed alot

ya, this is going to be, interesting, if nothing else. But Jamique has been workin' on his vid for a good few years longer than Spyro has even been thought of as a movie, givving [atleast] a year diffrence in relice times

Here I come being a pessimist again. Like I've said on The VU forums. it either won't happen or it will and it will suck. I suppose there is one other option that I didn't consider. It could be a very good movie and no one but about 600 people in the world will see it.

If it is done well, it can spread by word of mouth. How many of you saw Spritied Away? It was oroginally only shown in habndful of thethers but I managed to see it, and loved it. it was an Alice in Wonderland"-type film, and it did really well.
