Well over here most I spent on a game was £38 on Ar tonelico, the games fun but I regret paying so much, however due to it been such a nich game the price would only of gone up hmm

So yesterday, I was in Game Stop, searching for a new game. I couldn´t find anything so I thought about trying out Skylanders as many people on the net seem to like it. But then I saw the price: 70€ (92$)
I just thought WTF! The game is about 30% more expensive than usual games and that's still not the whole price since there are many toys that you need to buy... mad
So to all people that say you shoudn't judge the game before you tried it...
I'm sure that even if the gameplay is nice, it's not worth that much money...

I've seen it for $50 or $60 here.

it costs extra because it comes with the toys AND the portal, and in order to generate income after using money to create the toys they need to charge a little extra, along with the fact that the portal is pretty heavy-duty. I think this game is really fun and honestly the prices are pretty decent that I've seen in stores.

also, gamestop always tends to overprice their games. I'd suggest trying somewhere else.

Let me point this out though.

Why pay for some stupid portle that causes irritence!!! you have to stand up get a toy and place it down to play as that toy!! ITS POINTLESS why not just be able to sit down play a game ANd select who the f*** you wan't when you want.

there are MANY games out there with a HUGE range of charictors. look at tekken for example. how woiuld you feel paying to get a toy to play as somone as tekken.

Heck how about skyrim pay to create you're charictor.

apparently because it's a new thing in the toy market. but i mean, you know, okay, you've brought a new play idea to the table. now what? what was the point of doing that? what is that going to do for anything? in the grand scheme of existence, that was so incredibly pointless. and it's not like this was like somebody living out their life-dream or something, this is obviously for money. life is worth so much more than stupid materialism.
