Re: Skylanders Sequel: Skylanders Giants

I'm excited for this game, I've been having a lot of fun with the current Skylanders. now if only I could actually get the toys at the store before they sell out!

Re: Skylanders Sequel: Skylanders Giants

Bump, I know, but this looks like it could be fun. One issue it doesn't address in the trailer though... will the figures from the original game work with the new one, or will it be playable with "giants" only? If it allows toys from the original, that could branch the gameplay in interesting ways, like you can access new areas using smaller characters with different abilities, then in those new areas there are more paths that the giants can open up.

Re: Skylanders Sequel: Skylanders Giants

The Skylanders from the original game will work on the new game as they are forward compatitible, but the new Skylanders won't work on Spyro's Adventure.

Re: Skylanders Sequel: Skylanders Giants

Okay, that makes perfect sense, I can't wait to see how they work with the gameplay using that. Thanks for the quick response!
