What other video game would you like to see Spyro crossover with?

If there ever was a crossover with another series, please for the love of God DON"T BASE IT ON TLOS! I may be in the minority here (again), but I almost literally grew up with the original spyro games, and because I most fondly remember the original trilogy, everything in TLOS is crap to me. Spyro's design, Sparx' stupid personality, Cynder, Everything about it just turns me off. Of course, seeing as how Activision owns the rights to Spyro and the original trilogy was Insomniac's product, I doubt I'll have my way with it.
So even though I don't think a crossover would work, if there was one that could combine the gameplay of Spyro and whatever other series effectively, it would be absolutely awesome.

For the record, if those are minorities here, I am part of them too, and so are a few others here I know of. I agree with everything you just said. I admit, I have never played TLoS. But from what I've heard... I don't want to.

Back on topic... I'm not a big fan of crossovers, I like the idea in my head, but the only "crossover" I have ever seen that works is Super Smash Bros.

Seamless integration in a crossover would work.
I could imagine Samus Aran making an emergency landing in the ruins of Hyrule, and then exploring all of the locations from The Legend of Zelda.
I don't think it's ridiculous that Equestria could be one of the continents of the planet featured in The Legend of Spyro, with the events of Friendship is Magic happening approximately 250 years after those of TLOS (purple dragons are born 10 generations apart, and each generation is 12 years. Spike seems to be about Spyro's age, which would be 10 in Spyro the Dragon, if he is in the 1988 generation)

That was my first Final Fantasy game. And my 3rd favorite in the series.

It was my first FF but i just never got into it hmm

All this talk of cross overs has me wondering. If someone was rich and crazy enough, could they hire a game company to produce a game for them?

You said you would like to see Spyro crossed over with a FPS. I agree, but I think Battlefield bad company would be better than CoD because both Spyro and battlefield bad company have some humor in them. This could solve the difficulty of crossing Spyro with a FPS.

Spyro being an FPS? I'd say it would be better off being a third person arena
game. Huge maps like Battlefield has, you fly around, hide, attack, go crazy.

Well, my opinion has changed, and I realize that a shooter might not be good for Spyro.

That doesn't mean I don't want to see Spyro go one on one with an Elite from the Halo series, though.

(I actually like them, they look pretty awesome in my opinion.)

Now, I wonder how close to Spyro they'd look if they walked on four legs and

I would say Super Mario, Sonic, Super Smash Bros, Kingdom Hearts, Left 4 dead ( XD ), Halo(Seris), Saints Row (Seris), Ghostbusters the video game (XD again), DeadRising (Seris), Fallout (Seris), Mass Effect (Seris) and thats about all i can think of for now.

I would probably cast a vote for either sly cooper, Rachet and clank, Jak, or Crash bandicoot. Those all seem like games that have a similar cartoony style as Spyro and all are platformers.

Don't know what kinds of video games people play today, but I'd say that another crossover just wouldn't work. However, since Spyro had some minigames in Spyro 2 & 3 that were inspired by Doom, Tony Hawk, and more, maybe we can at LEAST have a Spyro game that has evolved TLoS elements slapped into classic Spyro, but we should also take a little bit of inFamous's Cole's powers and slap that into Spyro, too. We should also take Nathan Drake's melee style and slap a similar style into Spyro (Spyro will use his tail, horns, wings, and claws, but mostly his tail). We should also stuff him with a little bit of Ace Combat. Spyro, however, will NOT use bullets. He will use all magic powers.

He should also have friends that get gameplay that's actually more of a replica to Uncharted's, in which THOSE characters will use PLASMA guns (a lot of times, using actual bullets call for blood. Ratchet & Clank used all plasma bullets and stuff, so no red blood was EVER in the series). There should be a free-roam world with a city that actually ENCOURAGES anytime flight. There should be a few younger dragons that'd take up the SIMPLISTIC platforming.

Call me crazy, but this is actually something you can look into.

As for crossovers... I wouldn't be too interested in seeing any. They never feel "believable" to me, I guess. Like, Spyro and Crash's worlds were just too different - one was all fantasy while the other was sci-fi.

I could see Crash being in Skylanders or something, but that's probably the limit of my suspension of disbelief.

Garry's Mod, you can pretty much do anything in that game as long as it has been created, there are loads of different characters from all the games if you go on the steam workshop and someone made the original Spyro in there too so I thought... Time to create something new and fail while at it leading to me giving up in the end lol.

Combining Spyro and War Thunder is like combining Call of Duty and Super Mario 64. It likely wouldn't work very well.
