Re: Spyro and Cynder discussion

also, after playing TEN for like the fifth time, i noticed that sparx says in the begging, "man i have had to sleep with one eye open for weeks now"
which means that a lot of time has passed between the end of ANB and TEN. Lets just call it bonding time!!!  big_smile  big_smile  big_smile

Re: Spyro and Cynder discussion

We're not sure how much time has passed, but it can't be very long, since Spyro still hasn't recovered his powers at the begining of TEN. 'Weeks' tells us the time gap isn't that much, otherwise Sparx would have used "months'...

It could have easily become a tradition after ANB to name purple dragons Spyro, though the Spyro of ANB was certainly not the first (Ignitus himself says that every tenth generation a purple dragon who is destined to do great things is born).

That can not be true seing there are many other purple dragons in the originals, NOT named Spyro.
But the whole idea is possible but Krome have already stated its a reboot, but in fanfiction and stuff it would be a good idea.
Oh and razz and stuff, im not going to get into another arguement about spyro and cynder being siblings... *not to self, never get into a fight wth people who are spyroxcynder fan boys/girls*

Re: Spyro and Cynder discussion

Ratchet: in regards to naming purple dragons Spyro, maybe by the time of the Insomniac games it was more of a noble name and had fallen out of style. Of course, YotD implies that the dragons name themselves before/just at hatching (if you want to think of it that way) and perhaps Spyro knew he was destined for greatness and chose that name. For the record, though, I don't think the LoS series is connected to the old games in any way; if it turns out to be connected, I will be surprised and interested to see how they pull that one off. big_smile

Hee, yeah, us Spyro/Cynder fans are crazy. big_smile

Re: Spyro and Cynder discussion

I am starting to see a distinct disadvantage to guest posting... >.>

No need to explain it to me, Ratchet. Unless the third game really comes out and proves it, I've never thought that LoS was anything but a reboot. It's been stated numerous times by the game makers themselves. I was just postulating on how they could be connected on the off chance that they are.

Lol that's garbage.

But I really doubt they're related.

And I'm almost certain it's a reboot.
