Okay, so I know this section of the forum is pretty dead. But looking around the Spyro parts of the forum, it looks like a lot of you like to find glitches in the Spyro games. I think this could be a good opportunity to make use of our Youtube channel we made last summer....

What I'm suggesting we do is make kind of a video directory of all the glitches we can possibly find in every Spyro game out there and make videos of them for the Spyroforum youtube channel. Whoever submits the most videos wins! (I have not decided when this would end or what you would win. Maybe we could give the winner a special rank title or something.)

What do you guys think? Anyone interested in doing this?

The timing couldn't be better, because this weekend I was finally able to setup recordmydesktop-gtk so now it records sound too.

My youtube username is gekoncze94, but I have no clue how to use most of youtube functions => idk how to put the videos to the spyroforum channel. I can only upload videos and watch them... that's all tongue

Well KingLambda manages the Youtube channel, so he can probably explain better how it would work. But I think if you just upload it to your own channel we can just make a playlist and add everyone's videos to it.

Do the glitches have to be new glitches? And what games? I'm not sure if I enter the competition but my youtube user is Hardrockrock12345. I don't know if i'm able to record good quality video.

They don't have to be new. For well-known ones like swimming in air, the first person to submit the recording of it will get the points for it.

You're right. I didn't find many glitches in the TLOS games yet, because I can't play it on pc like PS1 games. (I tried NFSU2 and it was like 0.5 FPS XD)

btw what if the glitches are the same (like swim in the air), but are in some other levels. Are they counted as one or as differend glitch?

great question. quoting it so that somebody remembers to answer it.

there's also a glitch that involves using Dark Spyro to "fly". i can use this glitch to do several different things. would those count as different glitches, or since they all involve the same technique would they be the same glitch?

Lots of good questions here that I didn't think of.

How about if we count them, but they're worth a different number of points? Like the first person to do a swimming in air video gets full points, and everyone else afterwards gets less. And maybe we'll make Gameshark glitches worth fewer than regular gameplay glitches. I'll think more about how a point system could work and update this later. Suggestions?

There were 2 ways to do it in the demo version, but they propably found the 1 (which was easier to do) and fixed it.
