If not an LoS continuation, then at least make the LoS trilogy into
movies! The story is so powerful that whenever I think about
how it was just apandoned its like a wrench getting stabbed into my gut and twisting it like spaghetti... (ewww..) :-P I even wrote a poem!!

Oh I hope and I pray,

To every saint I know,

That activision will someday.

Continue or not it mus not be left to die!

I haven't played the games, but how was it abandoned? Didn't they finish the story arc?

Obviously they didn't think it would be profitable for them to continue the series in that direction, or they would have done so. It certainly would have been easier for them than to have found completely new developers, writers, etc.

I'm not a fan on TLoS at all, but I know from what happened to the original Spyro that reboots of something you like can be very sad. Unfortunately there's really nothing you can do but deal with it and maybe produce some fan content that will fill in whatever you felt was left "open."

There already is a legend of spyro movie just that activison did not allow it to be released but there is one and it is done they just need to get permison from activison to ship it in to stores.

unreleased film

"Hello, my name is Charlotte. I'm not too sure if your the right person to be asking this but

I hope you may be able to help me. I was just wondering why permission was not granted

to release the finished legend of spyro film in stores? Alot of people really wish to see it and

it would make you guys alot of money. Also it would be a shame to let a kick *bleep* movie like

Aura got the letter. but it was'nt made so i heard. but they wer'nt going anywere with it. ((Though im not to sure about this bit XD))

But I bit i do remember clearly was they wanted a new direction (Sh**landers)) and they felt TLOS did'nt fit in.

i agree, The trilogy had a great story that make sense on making in a movie, especially in the dawn of the dragons, i will love to see those movies, Also i will like that they make a anime cartoon about the original series(Old Spyro). That will be fun wink

Also because LoS is an uninspired peice of crap that copies every fantasy cliche, but magically makes them worse. It'd be one thing if it was done good. But no. I think they purposely made them worse.

dispite this i still like the first 2...there like my 2012 of games.

TLoS is kind of like Twilight for me. The times I played/read it, I didn't think it was that horrible. I could tell it was full of flaws, but it was entertaining in a mindless kind of way. After reading opinions from both dedicated anti-fans and annoying fantards, the flaws kind of became magnified in my mind to the point of me saying I actually hate the series.

So yeah, I wouldn't really want to see a movie made of Spyro... but I think I'd have a lot of fun lightheartedly making fun of one.

If you want abandoned, try the Metal Arms sequel or Star Wars Battlefront 3, now those were abandoned

At least I'm pretty sure that's where it came from. If not, that would be a little creepy.

But anyways, (I wonder how many of my posts have this phrase in them) while I still haven't played DotD, I think the series had a pretty definite ending, didn't it? It's like KingLambda said; it's not like it was in the middle of the series or something. There were some things left open to interpretation, but I don't think that means it's not over. I mean, really, where do you go from using magical dragon powers to put the entire world back together as it's exploding? tongue That's a conclusion if I ever saw one.

true but it still left some, i suppose, big questions unanswered. which is why the ending while good was not as fulfilling as it should have/could have been which is why a lot of people want some kind of closure on the whole matter. i mean the ending with ignitus kind of left it as a bit of a cliffhanger and a set up to the next game in the series or the start of a new series involving spyro and cynder (not sky landers)

yes, i am udderly insane tongue also had some serius issiues in my gut at the time i wrote that (was t the doctor not to long ago) but the point is. i am exited about the los series the ending of it was way to.. i dont know.. feels like something is missing, ALOT is missing.
