Sure, why not just rip of Mario and Sonic with this title....
and there already is.

Not a soddin' chance. Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games was okayish but sucked in some parts(which is most of the game). Spyro and Crash would just kill the series even further

Re: Spyro and Crash at the olympics games!!
Like Rurik said, there has been a game with Spyro and Crash together. Actually two: Spyro Orange and Crash Purple.
I would say it's really unlikely to happen because it doesn't fit in with Spyro's storyline at all.

If it has original Spyro, then I think it would be a laugh. XD

Re: Spyro and Crash at the olympics games!!
If Spyro was at the Olympic games, how is he going to participate? He has no hands or opposable thumbs, he walks on all fours so sprinting and hurdles won't be a problem, but what about events such as Javelin, discus, hammer throw, skeet shooting?

Re: Spyro and Crash at the olympics games!!
Well he can stand on two legs, as seen in StD after you defeat Gnasty. He made lots of gestures with his paws there. He can also make gestures with his paws when standing on all fours, like at the end of YotD when he waved goodbye to Elora. I don't think it'll be a problem.

DOTD was okay, but it was boring and the controls are stiff

Re: Spyro and Crash at the olympics games!!
Am I the only one who thinks this would be an insanely lucrative, probably horrible, but interesting game? I actually did laugh and roll my eyes when I read the thread title, but thinking about it, Spyro is pretty good at sports. Remember hockey and skateboarding? They would just need to think of manoeuvres for him to do the activities in Crash Bash, and add minigames from Spyro as bonus levels that you can also do with the other characters, and add Hunter etc as options to play as. It could have speedways from Spyro (other characters can have a jetpack) competitively, and versions of some Crash Bandicoot levels that would make a good group game.
There were so many Crash racing games, and actually I think they picked the wrong Crash party game to keep remaking. Crash Bash could have a lot of fun stuff added to it to make it more relevant today. They could take the good elements of the Orange/Purple crossover too. I think it would be a decent game for handhelds, maybe downloadable for the home consoles. Better than a lot of Wii games for sure. Best of all, it would prove the nostalgic value of both franchises (Skylanders already did that) now that some of the original players have kids. This is all with the aim of creating interest in the style of game we had in the '90s, as plenty of us would like similar games to those series to come out during this gen of consoles, even if the characters themselves are put to rest.
