Do you love Spyro music ?

If so, you should listen to Stewart Copeland radio on Pandora. I listen to it every now and then and I hear songs that he has done during  his solo career that sounds like Spyro 1 music. Also, the craziest/coolest thing I stumbled upon was this song called Bill is Dead, which is almost identical to the music on Lofty Castle !

Good suggestion! I've listened to it before too and really enjoyed it!

The music in Fireworks Factory is so awesome, it just made iTunes crash. True story.

Re: Do you love Spyro music ?

i *sleep* to Spyro music these days.

i love the variety in it. usually i go for stuff with a less "funky"(?) beat to it, but it somehow works in Spyro. there are so many different instruments and styles going on in the original Spyro music. (Gekoncze, i just pointed this out the other day, haha.) guitars, pianos, church organs, percussion, it's all wonderful.

plus the soundtracks are a huge nostalgia trip for me, so. tongue

The soundtracks are a huge nostalgia trip for everyone i bet xD I don't mind the funky beats. Funky beats are a-okay in my book *bobs head*

Funky as in:

Or just funky as in fast and active? Or something else?

Re: Do you love Spyro music ?

exactly what that video demonstrates, basically. i tend to listen to stuff with a more... straightforward beat, i guess you could say. the kind of thing you hear in a lot of hard rock and metal. a lot of the original Spyro music doesn't have that. it has a more funky sound to it.

You know... when you point out that some spyro songs sound kind of "funky". I never really noticed that. To me, most of the music just reminds me of 60's. xD

It could possibly come from the band Stewart Copeland's in: The Police.

They have a very 80s/90s feel to them for me, but too happy and jumpy for
me to go to sleep to. I leave that to more ambient music.

They remind me more of 60's. I don't know why. Maybe because of the organ.
