Interesting that it's saying that quotes aren't allowed, but the quote in your signature was working before. 
Fluxbb apparently has a few bugs I didn't know about.
By the way, I split this into another topic because that other one was about signature sizes, and this is a completely different issue.

Okay, didn't see this before, but in response to your edit:
Looks like quotes not being allowed in signatures is a default setting of some kind. That is definitely supposed to happen (judging by the fact that there's a specific error message for it), and looking through the admin options, it doesn't look like there's any way to disable it without going into the code.
I forgot that you had that signature before we moved, so, yeah, that would be the reason it was allowed before.
