glitches i find

i cannot guarantee that i'm the first person to find these.

anyway, a good place to start is Spyro: ANB, since most of the ones i've found lately are in that. it's amazing how many glitches you can activate just by backtracking.

^ the water where Kane was, now uncovered. you can't go under the ice, by the way. you still float *mostly* at the surface of the water.

^ hammers not working.

also, some enemies tend to regenerate, things you smashed tend to be repaired, and in some circumstances, you have to redo entire parts of the level.

in Dante's Freezer for example, if you get the electricity breath, destroy that castle thing, and then backtrack a lot, and then go back to the castle, the electric... thing... is back at the top of the castle, and you have to destroy it again.

also in Tall Plains, some people may remember a bridge that leads to a bunch of... vases?... that gets blown up before you reach it. that bridge is intact when you go back.

another one i can't explain. it was at the beginning of Dante's Freezer, right after the area with the catapult. the forcefield was up, but the giant ape was behind it, not on top of it. after i defeated it, no more enemies showed up, and the forcefield stayed up. apparently to the right of the doorway is a long, thin piece of wood standing up, and if you stand on it JUST RIGHT, you can double-jump and get over the barrier.

i did this later on (in that area with the knights riding on undead bulls or whatever they are) to backtrack a bit.

by the way, this is a very annoying glitch. only try it with low blood pressure.

the last one comes from Spyro: TEN, in the Forbidden Swamp. if you can get out of the level's boundaries (ice breath --> Dark Spyro --> jump --> TRIANGLE TRIANGLE TRIANGLE --- i did not discover that glitch ---), you will eventually encounter some trees that are outside of the level's boundaries. most of these trees can actually be broken like the other trees WITHIN the level.

^ at the beginning of the level. don't even ASK how i did this, it's a long process and you should never try to get there; go outside and do something better with your life.

one that sticks out at me is if you go to the first room with the jellyfish, "fly" off to the right, and keep turning, you eventually leave the room and see a gigantic tree that doesn't even have anything to do with the level. you can knock it down, though.

more will be posted soon. i have a video or two as well, in AWFUL quality, but they'll help get the point across.

Wow, a challenge! Maybe I could try playing the game again, but I have no time... maybe on some holidays

I'm guessing I'm the only one that's had a glitch on TEN where after I killed one of the death hounds in the Grove, another one hit me knocked me off the platform and I went back and then forward and died.

that's never happened to me, i don't think.

BUT the other day i was playing it, and i killed one of the hounds, and it just laid there. it didn't turn into gems or anything. no, i'm not kidding. it was a very odd experience.

I once managed to get Cynder stuck in a wall. lol But I've never experienced a glitch in ANB or TEN.
