Re: Spyroforum`s First Impressions of Skylanders

The Crash & Spyro cross-over was met with mixed reviews. I was kinda hoping that Crash would join Spyro in Skylanders as there won't be a Crash game this year. As usual...

Crash Nitro Kart is pretty good but really difficult. The karts are difficult to control and the developers even said why in the intro cutscene. It's shorter than Crash Team Racing too.
Woc is also good but only if you get the Greatest Hits version on the PS2. Load times are cut to 5-10 seconds.

I'm a secret duck who lives in the glitchy but nice Honey Marshes. My day to day job is to spy on the blue guys so they won't get up to much mischief.

Re: Spyroforum`s First Impressions of Skylanders

Here's a pretty good opinion on Skylanders from a casual fan.

He speaks a lot of truth.  Even if you don't like Skylanders, I can't imagine you'd disagree that the things he's saying aren't true.  Everyone has their own opinion about the game, but one thing is clear, none of us have played it yet to make a proper assessment.

And you're just learning about this? You're six-months late, Latias. And is Hans Zimmer composing the music for Skylanders bad to you?

Actually yes it is. It's sad that a music composer of his magnitude will be working on this crap fest of a game.

Re: Spyroforum`s First Impressions of Skylanders

But Hans Zimmer working on the music improves the game, so even if the rest of it turns out to be crap (which I doubt), that would at least be one good thing about it.

If you want to be pessimistic and whiny, Latias fan, I'm not stopping you, but do you really have to say something negative about every aspect of the game? Sheesh...

[https://www.fanfiction.net/u/5597209/spashthebandragon] I've got fanfics for Spyro, Crash Bandicoot, Frozen, and Spectacular Spider-Man. Err, separately, I mean. Not some weird crossover thing. Those are all separate fanfics.

^ What do you expect from an anti-Skylander fan? And complaining about every aspect on the game is going a bit too far...

Ok you have a point. With a good composer like Hans Zimmer. The soundtrack could be good. But then again we got John Williams in Indiana Jones and The Kingdom of the Crystal and the soundtrack to that sucks. So I'm not holding my breath.

True, he is right.I have my own dreams about what my perfect Spyro game would be and other people have theirs, and that's all wonderfull and good smile

Im still peeved about Spyro's redesign and the fact that it's just pure money milking, but hey, as the guy said, they are experimenting with new ideas for a new audince, so it's out of my playing field since i am not a part of said targeted audience (small children).

it is not the same in respect to any Spyro game, but it is a good game.  I just don't like it having the Spyro name

Re: Spyroforum`s First Impressions of Skylanders

My reaction was just: "WTF?!"
This is such an awful game, bad graphics, no storyline, Ugly Spyro and Cynder, it's costs to much, You need to buy toys to play the game,
And even MORE If you want to really enjoy it at some.
At original Spyro, it was just Perfect. Now what happened?
We can't just give-up!
