(suggestion) Make new PMs more visible

When I get a PM in my inbox, the current change to the PM option in the navigation bar is so subtle that I don't notice it unless I decide to inspect it closely, which I don't do very often, since I'm not expecting to get a PM most days. As a result, I might not be aware of a PM until a couple of weeks after receiving it neutral

So could you make it more obvious, for example like how it was on the old forum where a kind of popup message appeared?

This is actually on my to-do list of new features. smile I'll make sure this gets done before anything else. Not sure when I'll have time, though, so I can't say when it might be done.

Just updating to say I've started working on this and that it should be done pretty soon. And now that I've said that publicly I won't be able to get away with abandoning it! tongue

Updating again and closing this because I've had this feature implemented for about three weeks now and forgot to post about it. tongue

There is now a little "dialogue box" that appears when you load a new page and have a new message, like on the old forum. If anyone finds any problems with this feature, you know what to do. big_smile
