Worst Level?

I usually just ignore what Hunter says in the beginning of the game, too. I really meant that at first, it seemed easier than the original game because you were getting told how to do things.

Although, it's possible that the dragons you rescue in the first game tell about certain controls... I always skip their dialogue.

Some of them do at the beginning of the game. Lots of them try to give you hints about how to get to certain places, even later in the game.

Some of the dragons are actually pretty entertaining to listen to. Spyro is afraid of all the old guys. XD

When I played Spyro 3 when I was about 6, I was baffled by the fact that pressing up when flying makes you go down and pressing down made you go up...

Haha, that was weird for me at first, too. But eventually I played Spyro so much that got brainwashed by it, and now I have to turn on inverted aim in any game I play or I get super confused.

I first played this game when I was probably about 6 or 7. Now, years later, I STILL can't do the flying levels. How could I forget to mention those? Those are horrible. My cousin can do them, though. That's the only reason I've ever seen the inside of the Treasure Room.

my least favorit levels of the first spyro game would have to be Everything in the Beast Makers home world and all the levels in it. too much water everywhere not to mention all the freaking frogs and the electrified platforms!

I also did not like any of the flying/speedway levels. they were pretty but thats about it since it took me forever just to complete one of them.

The ice cavern level was annoying to, but not as much as beast makers, simply because i kept sliding off of the edges, ect... but it is still one of my favorits simply because of how it looked. I also liked the majority of the Dreamweavers worlds except for the one with all those spiders! (I hate spiders).

The reason I hated High Caves was because of the spider part. I don't like spiders at all, and the fact that it took forever to defeat all of them was another turn-off to the level in general. The only thing I liked was the fairies that brought you back to the supercharge; I'm glad that was there.

I HATED Tree Tops! I had MANY bad memories as a child... I could never manage to find all the gems, and the dragons! Obviously I can do it now, but back in the late 1990s I found it nearly impossible! smile

When I'm LPing Spyro I've found that I's actually a lot better now. Apart from Tree Tops. That level can die in a hole.

Theres something interesting about Tree Tops, actually. No matter how much I have played it, found that hard dragon, I STILL have a lot of trouble finding it every single time I play it. Insomniac truly is genius for that alone. In many levels, I already basically know where to go and what-not, but Tree Tops is the ONE level that baffles me, and keeps me up for hours on end trying to figure it out each time. I hope I'm not the only one who notices this?

Anyways, just for that, I cannot call it my least favorite level due to the stroke of genius entertainment value of it. I generally am not a fan of the Peace Keepers Homeworld levels though, with the exception of Ice Cavern.

My least favorite level?... Hmm... High Caves. I remember being scared of the spiders when I was younger. I don't mind them as much now though. I just hated the fairies for an unknown reason.

^ yes. the spiders were a bit scary as far as Spyro stuff went, and those fairies were kind of annoying, weren't they? i know they keep you from falling, but, i don't know, that's still annoying.

Haha. I just remember despising Every Level in Beast Makers. They were the worst levels for me. They were a thorn in my side for probably a good 7-8 Years. I could do pretty well in everything before that but those levels usually just made me give up on Spyro 1 and made me let it rest for a while =P

Beast Makers of course, I really hated its atmosphere. Also, I had to melt my brain to find all the gems at Tree Tops

I'm not keen on the levels in Gnorc Gnexus. They're a decent challenge, but I don't like the industrial feel. Plus the bad guys have guns, which doesn't give me that Spyro feel.

I was stuck on Dry Canyon for the longest time. I grew to hate it. Now that I look back on it, I only really hated it because I couldn't figure out that you had to glide from that overhang to get to the key, and that one dragon.

I'd have to say my least favorite was probably every flight level ever.

Terrace Village was annoying. I think it was the enemies. The music track just doesn't do it for me either. But I do like the visuals and level design.

I know. In fact, if you stand on the pedestal where the chest is, you can see both the very beginning and very end of the level from where you are!

AW..come on. Misty bog had that creepy Caribbean feel that I love. And metal head was awesome. I think Beast makers was one of the best world in the game.
