How the hell did Cynder earn her jewelry, let alone put on in DOTD?

So in the two first legend of Spyro games, Cynder has no jewelry in her child form...but somehow manages to get silver jewelry in DOTD. But her head and paws...their too big for jewels to fit. Uuuuh, wtf? How the hell does that work? I really doubt her jewelry straps or locks on to her. Any ideas? Anyone?

If I am not mistaken, they were planning on adding a cutscene that would explain the reason for her wearing that jewelry in DotD. From what I have heard, she wears it to cope with her fear of turning back into the terror of the skies.

Sort of stinks they removed that cutscene, I would of liked to see it, also I wonder if Cynder grows up, will she look like her adult form basically just not evil?

you also have to remember that Spyro, Sparx, and Cynder all look like 8 years older in DOTD even though they weren't supposed to age at all (since they were frozen in time), and that the guardians can't stop smiling through the whole game. i'd just consider it a mistake on the part of the developers. never mind Aura24 explained it below.

There were a lot of character design plotholes made in the game. Like in Warfang, Spyro and Cynder didn't fly over a fallen building to reach Hunter after they were separated, when they clearly had wings big enough to carry them over it.

And another character design plothole in DotD was that Spyro and Cynder were still the same size as they were in TEN and never grew an inch, because the devs thought it was a good idea to make them teens to take advantage of the next-gen consoles of PS3 and 360.

I've heard about the cutscene from the Wiki, but I've never seen any actual proof/evidence of where a developer mentioned that. It just appeared one day on there (which is why I'm always hesitant to trust Wikis with this kind of info these days).

I think DotD was just a mess storywise.

The original source of proof was actually posted on the Sierra Forums and confirmed by Chris Wilson. While at E3, I've talked with Mike Graham, and he also confirmed that Cynder was going to have that cutscene with her putting her jewelry back on physically, but it wasn't added in due to time restraints.

The devs even mentioned on the old Sierra Entertainment forums that there would be a humorous cutscene with Volteer and Cyril during the Attack of the Golem level.

that's a pretty underdeveloped plotpoint, isn't it? i just thought of that. i mean i enjoy the less gloomy mood in DOTD as much as the next person, it just doesn't seem natural for her to get over it that quickly.

Yeah, it makes the story look half baked.

In fact, it is half baked. Due to the way they rushed through the production of the game, Dawn looks like its missing cutscenes. Haven't you all ever noticed how the transitions from one scene to the next look choppy? Sometimes i develop my own headcannon of how the game should have played out to make my fics work.

Ah, thanks for the clarification. I was barely on their forums.

I still feel it was just a weak excuse to make her more 'appealing' to some of her fans though.

the game was rushed, and was a plothole filled mess. you mean to tell me that Cynder is the ONLY female dragon in existence? well then the dragons are just about extinct then.

the genders of the dragons in Warfang are never confirmed, so there could easily be female dragons among them.

plus who knows, there might be dragons in other places, too.

in the legend series she is the only female dragon that we see. other dragons in warfang are of unspecified gender.
