A new spyro fan game following the classic trilogy?

I remember finding this somewhere, too. Not surprised it was never finished because, you know, it's a Spyro fan game. tongue

It looked promisingly close to the originals, but I have to say, Spyro's character model looks kinda weird.

looked? it's still being developed. he uploaded a new video just a month ago actually

and yeah, Spyro looks a little weird there, but apparently he's still working on Spyro.

I wanna know how he got Sparx working this good. He looks amazing the way he moves and gets gems. And yes, Spyro sorta looks odd, like Spyro the Dinosaur(ala Barney).

This won't be an abandoned project, It's just going to take a long time to develop or another words, there will be long times I won't respond/post anything. (We all have life to go through)
The model is going to stay as it is. It's my modeler/animator's style, FaithSDK, she wants to stick with. Yeah it may look a bit funny to you, but she wants to differentiate from the existing Spyros. We just want to make a different look to the game. (Spyro's Game cousin, Crash, is getting a fan reboot as well by some other people and they get a lot of criticism for their model but they are sticking with what they want.)

I should have posted this before. Oh well.
I'm basically regurgitating what I have on my blog which I apparently slow to load.

I question though, does the fire go that far or no? The smoke does nothing, just there when the fire dies out. Anyways, ON WARD TO DEM VASES AND BASKETS!!!

I personally like what you did with the fire. It still has that classic feel too it, and the smoke is a nice effect that adds a realistic taste. Keep up the good work.

I do question, who will be doing music? I mean I already have Modez if he is available, but just in case, I've been sent messages about others showing their ability to make some. I don't need them now but for when its almost finished.

Also, how would the music sound like if the instruments used were real? (Not generated sound, Can also be a recorded instrument and then have modified pitches) I've always tried to imagine one like how the people of Greatest Video Game Music did. If you can do it, share it here.

Help, I need a reference image for the Gem Case ((I don't know its official name) The one that holds multiple gems and requires a rocket or something else powerful)
I was doing containers until I realized I didn't know what that thing looked like... Once I get that I'll probably make a new video on containers and the sheep hopefully getting the health indicator to work for the first time. (Yea, Sparx changes colors)

Close Up on Sparx if you were wondering how he looked.

Enemies are still far from where I'm at. I hope you guys have patience. I do hope to get a speedway going, I would love to get those going as well.
Also is "Chat" ever used? I pop in and I only see people in the idling section.

Well, there's the headbash ones

Then there's the locked ones

And then there's unlocked ones, which I couldn't find a picture for, but I remember them looking exactly like the unlocked ones, except without a lock.

Edit: And, yes, the chat is used, it's just that the majority of the time people aren't actively chatting. Stormy, KingLambda, and Spyrorocks are almost always online, though.

Thanks, I wanted the first picture. Headbash won't be a thing though. They both are basicly lock and key except in the 2nd game its that thing and a rocket and I'd prefer the rocket because it shows what you unlocked, and also that the rocket does random loops and swirls.
