Seriously though, no, I don't think this would be a good idea. A few enemies with guns and a powerup mechanic don't prove that Spyro could ever work as a shooter, especially since, as pointed out by Insomniac, he doesn't have arms to hold a gun. It just wouldn't fit it in with the environment, either.
Plus there are way too many shooters already.
