Re: Spyro the Dragon: The Tournament (Cancelled)
As spyrorocks said programing is a so hard thing, well u do a lot of code for a small animation or for an action, and yes most of the games are progrmaed with c++ language, i will study it too, but first i have to finish visual basic*sobs* its unfair!!!, and don't talk about the erros, like overflood content and invalidexception(man if have to study more basic i'll turn into a mad person for sure)
If your life become too hard for you remember that...you have friends no matter what happens...we will give you a friendly hand.
Thnx Blaze!:)

Re: Spyro the Dragon: The Tournament (Cancelled)
did someone say that need a concept artist?? I'm good at drawing, and next semester (after x-mas) i will be taking a drawing class, so i could make some stuff in there.
tho, since i am in AICE (Accelerated International Certificate of Education) i have lots of tests and won't be able to do all of the art. but i'll still be able to make rough sketches of like proportions and such.
oh and brom the wise, how did you have trouble in figuring out how the mouse worked?? that's one of the simplest things on a computer. and what is so wrong with computer nerds?? face it, they make our world go round.
(btw I am also going to get a bachelors degree in game programming when i go to college.)

Re: Spyro the Dragon: The Tournament (Cancelled)
Don't let that fact that game programming is hard drive you away from it.
You don't learn programming by making games, you take it one step at a time, by making simpler applications. Like a simple calculator (So you understand how to preform alegbratic equations in programming, would be usingful for some sort of artificial physics for your end game)

.......sweet, that's something taht I understand, a calclator, thanks man [you don't mind me calling you that or wiould you like to keep it as SR... i can also do Mr.SR or Sir SR]
Now, how would those calculations be moved over to... whereever they need to go in oreder for the physics to work properly?

Re: Spyro the Dragon: The Tournament (Cancelled)
I plan on taking programming in colledge, as there is no such thing as a degree in board game design.
Also the programming books I have turned out more interesting than doing it for me.

Re: Spyro the Dragon: The Tournament (Cancelled)
Add-On to the game's soundtrack (these are for the multiplayer maps, all are rock or metal for now):
The Only (Static-X), Paranoid (Ozzy), Just Run (Instrumental Editing (WAY too much language on the song, and it's just the band no singer on the editing that we'll do if I put it) (DevilDriver), Ace of Spades (Motorhead), Hold Back the Day (Edited due to lyrics, but the singer is still in this one) (DevilDriver), This Calling (All That Remains), Kill Clausic (AFI)
...more to come...

Re: Spyro the Dragon: The Tournament (Cancelled)
if you are planning to make a game.Firs you need the programs, and then you need to learnd how to do on them. After you do that you need some group who want to do that and who know how to do that. When you do that you can star makin the game.It will last long but it will forth it.

When you say instrumental editing, do you mean you are taking a copy of the non-instrumental version and editing it yourself so that it's instrumental? If so, could you tell me how that is done? Cuz there's some songs in the world that I like the music of, but am against the lyrics, and I wanna make instrumental edits of them, and the download websites don't have the instrumental versions of them, so I'd like to make them myself.
Interesting fact - I have the same birthday as Spongebob.
