This is quite random, but I've been playing Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, and I've got to say that it's one of the best 2D platformers I've ever played. There's so much character and detail put into that game, and each level is unique and fun (not too mention extremely dificult). I was disappointed that Retro Studios made that game over another Metroid at first, but they did a great job on it.

Agreed. It's got plenty of content. Plus fun challenges 10/10 in my option.
