Re: My Review on Spyro 1

I agree that it is easy now, but I did struggle with it when I was younger. Tree Tops and Haunted Towers took forever. D:

I love this game though; it's a classic and one of the first video games I ever played.

Re: My Review on Spyro 1

Too easy, repetitive and I got bored half-way through so I never finished

Re: My Review on Spyro 1

No game is perfect, all games must have flaws unfortunately this one has too many to get it to 80% and higher. You must learn to be objective, look past all the good and then you'll soon see what I'm talking about. I'm not saying it was bad or anything, just not as good as everyone thinks. I seriously wasn't motivated enough to continue but I did finish.

Re: My Review on Spyro 1

I'll admit, I enjoyed it at first I thought it was the greatest game I played but as you progress you start to pick out all the flaws. Like the controls, they're quite fiddley and stiff at times

Re: My Review on Spyro 1

Ok short review, Spyro the Dragon is one example of a great 3D platformer, and lives on even after 12 years.  The gameplay is great and easy to get used to, the story needed some improvement though, the soundtrack performed by the talented Stewart Copeland was great, the graphics are pretty good for 98' standards.

Overall, this game is very fun and like I said at the beginning it still lives on even after 12 years

No flame wars, only Spyro does that

Re: My Review on Spyro 1

I don't even have a copy, but I have maybe 70% from playing it at any opportunity.  Yes, I carry my PS1 memory card with me.

Yo, Spyro
I'm really happy for you, but Jazz Jackrabbit is one of the best platformers of all time.

OF ALL TIME!

Re: My Review on Spyro 1

Hi! I'm new to this forum smile

Spyro the Dragon is my favorite spyro game, and I got it for christmas when it first came out! I actually played it on the demo first. I just love the music and the pace, I try to replay it once a year
