Spyro Cameos/References thread
I felt like making this thread after watching the crappy Adam Sandler film Benchwarmers. There is a scene where David Spade's character is working at the video store and in 2 shots you could clearly see a pile of games, 2 which happen to copies of Enter the Dragonfly on the Gamecube.
I find this to be a funny coincidence as David Spade ended up voicing Sparx in The Legend of Spyro: A New Beginning a few months after this film was released.
Have you guys ever found any little Spyro references or Cameos in anything? (Crash Bandicoot and Ratchet & Clank excluded included) Feel free to share anything you've found.

Re: Spyro Cameos/References thread
I actually saw them right away. There are two of them in the stack behind the guy. I wonder if they just got a stack of the cheapest games possible for that scene, haha.
Can't think of any references or cameos besides the obvious ones in Crash and Ratchet and Clank. Actually, I can't even think of what those references would be. I don't think Spyro ever got popular enough to be referenced very often.

Re: Spyro Cameos/References thread
I noticed the Spider-Man game wedged in between the two Enter the Dragonfly's. Man that game brings back memories. In terms of Spyro references in other media, the only thing I can think of is musical references like the Amanda Show credits, etc.
I mean there is a cameo of him in Crash Twinsanity...but I think everyone knows that at this point...

That would be interesting. I wonder if there is going to be a Wreck it Ralph 2, and if so, if it will suck

I've seen enough dreadful sequels to amazing movies to know that that's not how it tends to work

Well, Disney sequels are handled with a lot of care. If it were to be mediocre though, I wouldn't know what to say.

Re: Spyro Cameos/References thread
Sequels to animated movies usually do suck honestly, BUT How to Train Your Dragon 2 was a totally different story. I actually thought it was a little better than the original.

Eh, that's not even true. I think Disney sequels do tend to be better than many other sequels, but most still suck.

The only one I've seen that sucks, in my opinion, is Cinderella 2, since it's really just a montage of short stories.

How did I forget the small reference to the trilogy in Sunset Overdrive?
