Parts of Spyro games that used to scare you

big ol spiders from spyro 1

i remember when i was really young i played ice cavern in spyro 1 and was on the level for so long that one of the alternate themes started playing. later on that night i woke up to some loud thunder and that song playing in my head. i think the alternate theme was some sortve remake of the theme from high caves?

also i use to have my brother beat the bosses in spyro 3 for me except for buzz. he didnt scare me that much.

but anyway, the other day i remembered something else that scared me, the yeti in Colossus. i was terrified of that boss battle. i was actually a bit disappointed when i found out you didn't actually fight him tongue

Most of the enemies in Spyro 1 scared me especially the enemies in Misty Bog.

And the ones in Dark Passage. The atmosphere in Misty bog seems to come off like it's from half-life or something.

Stewart Copeland is a genius when it comes to dynamics. I love how unnerving the Misty Bog theme, Skelos badlands theme, Crystal Islands(greatest hits) and platform peril sound. And the slowed down versions of the Jacques theme seems kinds sad at parts.

Yeah those trees definitely freaked me out.

I played EtD as a kid and the numerous glitches scared me so much. Here's one glitch I could find on Google;

Yeah that actually happened to me when I first bought ETD, it sort of caught me off guard, I mean it's like he's trying to break the camera.
